Here it is…..so go for it. This one could be one of the tougher ones and I look forward to your guesses. One hint….this is one of my favorite places in the world and I will go there any time to work. So where is this and what are these men doing? I will always remember this day.

1st guess.. catacombs….Rome, Italy and the guys are repairing a leak
Isreal? Jordan? Italy? hmmm I will have to investigate or guess!
Excellent reporting Adam… just caught the split screen shot of you and Shep!
The writing on the bag looks to be from the Balkan States area or Turkish. My guess is a restoration project in Greece…….since you said you’d like to work there……..a restoration of an old Greek wine cellar.
Of course it could also be a re-surfacing project to the sewer system in Cleveland, Ohio.
you’ve gotta be kidding!
any other clues, adam??
how about the bat cave LOL
for sure israel i see the hebew wording on that package… being that i live in israel its an easy one!!!!!! NEXT
I was going to guess something like Rome also.
Only a moment just to say………….I love this photo!!!!!!!!!!!! Lucky YOU!!!!!
Gotta run …..will guess later…….
I think this is Italy final guess and congrats Karen on your last guess
Israel … the Rabbi’s Tunnel building up from the remains of the 2nd Temple… now that is my favorite spot in all of Israel…..
Can anyone make out what language is written on the side of the bag in the photo?
And why is there light coming through from the top of the tunnel?
I was thinking underground..But I don’t think you are underground at all with the sun shining in like that…Avi seems confident in her answer of Israel..you were there 2 month long stints..Recently? Something to do with the War? Underground Weapons bases?..hmmm..interesting!
Adam I am not sure if I got it correct but the story is the tunnel is right under the Temple Mount and the Arabs believe it is their land.
I’ll guess in Israel, under the old city. Adam, I don’t believe this, you have reduced me to digging out my magnifing glass to try and read the sacks. I must have caught some kind of sickness.
adam,
greece, wine cellar………..
The only place I can remember you going for a long time is Kuwait, but I have a hard time thinking a place like this is in Kuwait. I was thinking you had your turn at being in Israel and it seems you guys stay a few months at a time. Was it during this last event with Israel and you guys were dodging bullets to bring us the story? I remember there were a number of you in the thick of things over there.
A Belltower in an Acient Church that you love..In Some beautiful Country.. Is he repairing a Bell near or at the Vatican..Did you go and Cover Pope John Pauls Illness and Death?? And then the voting in of the next Pope? Catholics dont speak Hebrew though Do they???
Roxie…Stuck in Hooterville living through others wonderful Travels!
looks to be in israel, possibly a religious site being excavated.
I’m fairly sure the writing on the bag is Hebrew, so it’s probably in Israel, maybe Jordan, and I’m thinking the story was something to do with the war with Lebanon last summer.
ok this is my last guess its Greece but i cant guess the story because i never knew you until now , Shame on me!!!!!!!! FINAL ANSWER AGAIN hhahah
A cave in Mexico looking for relics?
Okay my guess is Isreal. I think they are making a special area, for something special. Yes, I know I am vague but I am guessing!
It appears to be a gateway in a double wall. One such wall that has these type of design features is the Wall of Constantinople in Istanbul, Turkey.
ok i guess its Isreal then
Something to do with the Roman Aquaduct Constantinople (Istanbul)?…………..no, don’t think so.
Seems he’s working with a flood light and is the owner watching as he resurfaces the wall with
plaster…….
Sure wish it to be the interior of my home!!!!
At first it gave me the feeling of a fabulous underground restaurant in Rome many years ago called ” The Bibliotecca “.
I’m befuddled…………………., but can’t wait for THE ANSWER!!!!!!! I’ll be out of the loop for a week……..heading to Santa Barbara.
Looks like there is some renovation going on?
Kuwait… the 7 POWS released as they went towards germany. The guys are closing up the holes so nobody can get back into the tunnels.
That’s my final… Kuwait… releasing the 7 POWS to Germany.
Cathie… you might still have time to change your final guess. Door # 1, # 2 or # 3?
All the items in the picture are there to throw us off the trail. This fine photograph was actually taken underneath the US Capitol Building during the bi-anual sewer cleaning and safety inspection.
The young man on the scaffolding is actually checking to see if the present congress and senate have reached a new high record for BS flowing out of the Capitol by measuring the high water marks.
The older man is actually the distinguished gentleman from Idaho who is there looking for a pair of shoes that were accidently flushed down the toilet during a “foot tapping session”. Notice the shoes on lower left.
lmao Karen your too funny i thought it was Isreal because of the war with Lebanon and thats where they went for cover
I am sticking with Israel.
Well i blew up the pic and it sure looks like Hebrew writing so im sticking with Isreal . So when do we get another clue or the answer????????
