Behind the Scenes Fire Video
by Adam Housley
This is video this morning from Carbon Canyon in Malibu California. This fire has already destroyed 5 homes, a church and an animal hospital.
We got on location about 2am PST this morning and the Santa Ana winds kicked up not long after we arrived. As I took this video, we could feel the heat and about 10 minutes later we had to evacute the area as firefighters from Anaheim California did their best to save the home and as of this writing they are still keeping the flames away.

I’ve been watching your live reports this morning and that must be terrifying! I’ve dealt with hurricanes, tornadoes, drought, flash floods, etc., but I’ve never looked out my windows to see the horizon in flames! Where is your winery in relation to these fires?
That is one scary sight.
This was a great report Adam. you were up with the chickens. Has any livestock been stuck up there?
Look at all that smoke!
WHOAH!!!!!!!!! Everywhere you look there’s just clumps of fire. Either my eyes are bad or there really wasn’t any firefighters trying to put out those flames. They can’t be everywhere at one time… that kind of puts it into perspective. I heard a report this morning that said it’s spreading down to San Diego. Good Grief!
there is one question that needs to be asked, why are these idiots allowed to build in these fire prone canyons?i’ll bet the taxspayers are being billed a bundle to pay for the firefighting, just so some “blue-blood” can live in “the country”.
Jerry-
It is what I call- assumption of risk-
people try to think things like this won’t happen again-
