NEW FIRE PICS
by Adam Housley
This photo shows a home perched above Carbon Canyon in Malibu. Anaheim firefighters are grabbing hoses as the fire approaches. They saved this home and many others in the area. We were live right next to them and evacuated as the flames jumped over the home and ignited the hillside nearby.

I just read the residents in San Diego are being told to evacuate-
Wow.. this is a great shot!!!!! Excellent photography… Tell them we said thank you for letting us see this!
The evacuees of San Diego at this time are from a place called Rancho Santa Fe. It’s a huge area, but I’m not sure it’s part of San Diego proper. The entire city of Ramona was also evacuated last night.
Does anyone know the status of the San Diego Zoo? Is it located near the fire?
Susan.. YouTube questions on the debate November 28th?
Kaye R… haven’t heard anything about the zoo… oh my gosh… where do you bring those animals? Ronda’s saying it’s a pretty big area being evacuated out there… I’m at work… the only updates I’m getting are from Adam and you guys.
Good question Kaye R-
I keep looking on the headlines on MSN and this inferno just seems to get worse- scarier-
Fox just had another reporter on- and she is wearing a mask- behind her, it is nothing but smoke-
I don’t think we will be seeing too much of Adam today-
Hope his asthma is ok-
Scary conditions!! I decided not to run this morning because of the particulates in the air. We are now surrounded by fires in neighboring areas: Cajon Pass, Ontario…..! I have never seen the hills so dry and it seems the dire predictions are coming true. Thanks for your coverage.
Oh geez… the judge just declared a mistrial in the Muslim Charity Terror Case
Here is Adam again- great coverage-
-as long as these winds continue, there is no control-
What about the wildlife animals?
Some Australian hosed his house down with the pool pump- He sure has guts- I would be out of there so fast-
Unfortunately the weather models are not showing a decrease in the Santa Anna winds for another 36 hours. Once the winds die down it will be a little easier to get a handle on the spreading fires. That’s going to be a long 36 hours for all involved.

The same format was used with the Democrats- and it was so funny- November 28th- on another network- I don’t know if I am allowed to disclose the network here-
Fox is my favorite- but I do stray-
keep you posted- the wildfires are out of control- Arnold is on right now- the fire chief calls this – the perfect fire storm- this is so freaky- because as long as these winds continue, the fire can’t be contained-
100,00 acres have burned-
Does anyone have information on Ramona. The Estates area?
The word from the San Diego Zoo is that they have not been impacted by the fires sweeping through San Diego County, but animal care staff will continue to monitor the situation and make modifications to ensure animal health and safety as necessary.
I saw that unfold thanks to your coverage. You’re getting too close tho’, stay safe!!! I can’t imagine living in that area of California. What a major loss, I hope no one else loses their life. Tragic!!!
Thanks guys
Hope you all are staying safe. Amazing photos. Been watching you on T. V. What a loss to all those people. My prayers are with you all.

Tell someone at your job, a tele is a good investment- I have one here right next to my desk- but then I get to work from home-
Good news about the zoo- (Kaye R.) I freak out when animals are involved- as well as with children and the elderly- I hope they get people out of the nursing homes if there are any involved- as to what happened with Katrina-
What about Disneyland? Earlier there was some news coming from around the Orange County area-
I live in Malibu and it is very smoky and the wind is blowing but thank goodness, the fires are going the other way. Yesterday it was quite near to Corral Canyon, the area where I live, and could return any time.
One thing I have heard on every channel, is that movie stars live here, rich people, celebrities, etc, and while that is true, I would say most of us are ordinary people. There are a lot of retired people who bought their houses in the 50s or 60s, or working people like myself; most Malibuites have kids in school and we go to work just like anyone else.
I just wanted to stress that losing our homes is just as traumatic, our family photos just as priceless. It does show that in times like this, we are all in the same situation, rich or not…
Thanks for letting me share,
Cristy
Whether u lose a fourteen bedroom house or a one room home, home is home- and no one should have to live through a horrific experience of losing anything caused by a freak element-
I always wondered after Katrina, what would I grab- my pets, my photos, water bottles, and meds- anything beyond that, I would just have to start all over-maybe with less-
So I heard through Shep about Lake Arrowhead- as he refers to this as – nature’s fury.
He gave a great explanation as to the winds- and he showed a clip with you doing the coverage.
I am happy to hear from our local news- Arizona is pitching in- The evacuation of San Diego was compared to the population here in Glendale-
Looks like you and I have the same definition of home-
I hope you are getting some rest-
I AM SO SO SORRY ABOUT THE FIRE IN CARBON I KNOW THAT HAD TO HURT THE FAMILY JUST ASKING DID IT HURT ANYBODY.
