Why are the Peterson children still living in that house with him, when he is nothing more than a murder suspect?! The whole world knows about him and definately the Bolingbrook Police force are hiding evidence from the murder of first wife. Someone needs to get more warrants to investigate the whole evidence of the murder. Like the FBI, should be involved at all times, also the older children should be questioned in a proper manner by a child psychiatrist, either all together or one by one. They also know something about the disapperence of Stacy, a mother would tell the children if she feared for her life. They would be good witnesses for this whole missing persons case.

Please keep in mind that Drew is a Sociopath / Narcasiss / Psycopath… these types of people are completely “WIRED” differently than normal people. Drew is full of himself and he knows

Most psychopaths exhibit bizarre behaviors that defy norms and explanation. However, there are always patterns. With DP, his pattern is that he does not like to be without female companionship (many marriages and affairs overlapping), and has a very high sex drive (part of pathological behaviors of neediness and control); and seems to feel more in control when with a female, especially attractive ones; because it serves his self image and ego thinking himself a charmer and Don Juan. It may also be a way to fill a role that his mother would have served, calming and reassuring him in a time of confusion and guilt, as she was a very doting and overly accepting of him.

You are a female, young, good-looking. Notice the first thing he said was that he is “a good kisser”. I find that highly irreverent, completely offensive to you, and a gesture of self-grandiosity. Just more of the DP sickness trying to spread and infect another, as he wants to feel that he is still “virulent” in his power. Taking you on a tour of the house gave him some extra time to interact with you. He was trying to “flirt” with you, or “rap” to you. By taking you around and making chit-chat, he was able to have extra time to look at you, fantasize about what he might do to you sexually, even ponder whether he might actually have a shot at nailing you if he played his cards right. I KNOW this sounds insane, but it’s something guys do, and in his case he’s doing it at a wildly inappropriate time.

I’m very late in submitting this comment, but I just came across this item. I’ll tell you my opinion as to why he took you on that tour: In a nutshell, he was “flirting” with you. Some would say he was “rapping” to you, I guess it depends where you’re from. Giving you a tour allowed him to have some extra time with you, presumably alone. He found you very attractive, no doubt, and this gave him the opportunity to look at you, talk shit to you, all the while picturing in his mind the various sex acts he would have liked to perform on you, and whether he could ‘hit that’ if he played his cards right. Now, this is a common ploy used by men, wherein they find some superficial reason to extend an interaction with a particular woman, as it allows them more time to do “the rap” and have their little fantasy. It’s a form of self-entertainment. This is common amongst all heterosexual men (as insane and delusional as it seems), and pretty much to be expected, under NORMAL circumstances. But in this case, as you said, it was nothing short of bizarre. I have such a bad feeling about this guy.

It’s anybody’s guess why Drew Peterson does anything. The man is obviously in love with one person…himself. As others have said, it’s bizarre that he would tell you he’s a good kisser. What’d he think you were going to do? Fall all over him and ask him to prove it? Makes me want to barf. My biggest concern is that if this ever does get to trial his lawyers will all be whining that he can’t possibly get a fair trial due to the high profile status this story has been given.
I do hope justice is served. If he ever gets to prison he will try to manipulate other inmates and guards. Wish I could be a little mouse to see him set in his place when he meets his match.

He wanted to show you that he has nothing to hide and gain your confidence. He would have done this with any female investigator, to help his image. His boasting has nothing to do with you, just his own ego. Defaming his young wife, was an unconscious way of showing his guilt, it backfired. His focus should be only on her welfare at this point, unless he’s guilty.

When I hear about the Stacy Peterson situation,It makes me think about O.J Simpson,and how he got away with murder.I can just sense that Drew Peterson has killed her,and gotten rid of the body.I believe he strangled her so that there would not be a blood trail.I dont think they will ever recover the body unless he voluntarily says where he buried her.I know thats the reason he will not take a lie detector test.If they put more pressure on him perhaps he will slip up.Iam sure that he learned quite a lot about what to do as far as evidence is concerned during his tenure with the police dept.As far as that anonymous letter that was received is concerned he is the one who sent it.Maybe he was careless enough to leave a fingerprint on it.Iam praying that this will be resolved soon,and it will be proven that Drew Peterson is the murderer.

If Drew shared intimacies that he and Stacey had particpated in, perhaps you were being “charmed” in hopes that you too would succumb to his guile. He evidently has a manner that seduces young beautiful women into believing that he is omnipotent, and unafraid to share the most intimate things with someone to gain their trust. Imagine if you will being Stacey when she learned that his third wife “drowned” in her bathtub after she had become pregnant with his baby. Was she that stupid not to have suspected for even a moment that Drew may have had something to do with that? And what about the enormous life insurance policy, that admittedly was directed to a protected trust for her two children, don’t you think that Drew may have thought that some of that money would eventually come his way?
You were probably safer than anyone who could have entered his home that night. You are young, beautiful and were willing to listen to him try, at that time, to construct a story which could be later referred to in an effort to invoke sympathetic sentiment from your viewing public.
What I have learned from this so far is that we have a calculating person who knows how to use the law, what evidence would be sought, what questions would be asked, and how to use the media. Just as his third wife’s death has been proven not to be an accident, believe that Stacey’s disappearance was a well planned, artfully carried out manipulation of a skillful player.
I am certain that some of the things that he shared with you were of a sexual nature. He was reading you the entire time. Don’t be surprised if he tries to reopen the book.

According the the PDF file of the ER visit of Kathleen Peterson, 3rd wife, she had been taking pre-natal vitamins. Was she pregnant at the time he hit her, which was her reason for attending the ER? If he would hit a pregnant wife, I would think he’s capable of doing anything. He deserves a fair trial as anyone would, but I certainly would remove those children from the home. Another thought, who were/are his enemies? Is there someone trying to set him up with a crime?

This man seems to be wanting to steer everyone away from something else. Or then again, he may be telling the truth. We still need to wait for some tests to get back from the lab. We also need to keep interviewing him, he may slip up if he’s guilty.

Of course he gave you the tour because you are attractive. He’s probably been very successful in the past scoring with women. especially women who love uniforms. He ssems to not have a conscience, and I would think he has been like this most of his life - other people, friends and family should have noticed it. These people may abuse animals when they are young. I would guess he had a new girl in line to be the next Mrs. Peterson before his wife disappeared. Men don’t like to be alone. I understand he met Staci when she worked at a hotel to make money for college (hearsay), but it wouldn’t hurt to go to the areas he patroled, and ask around. I’d like to know where he met his other wives. I also read in a blog (hearsay again) that he may have raped a girl in the 70’s. Why doesn’t someone follow him when he goes off on his motorcycle? And where are his kids? They are probably so confused and need someone to love them now. I hear that he has got his retirement pay. Now he may ride away on his motorcycle and never come back.

If Staci is dead, I do not think her death would be via drowning because it would definitely point to him. So even if they do find the latest wife in the water, my guess would be that she did not drown. He does seem abusive. I would also suggest searching rental storage lockers, checking to see if the renters are who they say they are, he could have used an alias to rent a locker. (I mention this because there was a woman recently who was found alive in a drum in a storage locker. I can’t remember her name, but her toes and fingers were frostbitten when they found her).

As for this case and story, I agree with everyone else. It’s very obvious it’s a cover-up and that the Sgt. was not a very good person. I do believe Drew Peterson is not the only one involved in the mysterious death of Kathleen Savio. It is possible that he had help. What kind of help and to what extent, I don’t know. But you have to look into all the possibilities. then you have to sort out those possibilities for probabilties. For example, why don’t you investigate the insurance money he received after Savio’s death and see, if possible, what transactions have transpired of the last few years.

Drew Peterson gave you a boatload of information in very subtle ways.

First, I think he offered you the tour because he found you attractive-your his “type” and maybe, he thought he could charm you into believing that he is just a regular guy. By taking you on the tour of his house, he’s attempting to show you that he’s stable, a good provider, and that they had a normal homelife.

the “bizarre” comment to news reporters was his way of saying, “this is all so ridiculous.” It’s his way of downplaying all that is going on. He expects to be found innocent of all misconduct.

By telling you he is a “good kisser”, it can show his insecurity in the circumstance when he said it. Like a nervous reaction, much like when people laugh at innappropraite times. But this really depends on the context. But by speaking disrespectfully of his wife, it’s his way of justifying his argument that she just up and left him for another man.

I really feel this is a man who is out of control, and he is about to be held accountable for his actions on many levels. His personal life is a train wreck, his professional life is a train wreck and all the while he is trying to maintain that he and his wife were living a “normal” life. He is innocent until proven guilty, I pray every night for this young woman (who was 17 when they started dating and he was 47–a bit odd in itself) and I pray that someone, somehow, gets the facts on this man and his actions and that our justice system does the right thing with that information.

Drew took you on a house tour because he wanted to gain some public sympathy. He wanted to make it look like he was a loving father and show you the love and care that they (Stacy) had for the kids. He is a sick man. The fact that he was 47 dating a 17 year old is disturbing. And this man is a police officer? Did none of them make a point that this is illegal? She was a minor? I personally think some internal investigation needs to be done in the police department as to why so much of this behavior went unaddressed, Including his former wife’s death. I am truly disturbed that our legal system did not do a better job of serving and protecting.

What sane man would date an underaged girl? He invited you to his house, because you’re a pretty lady and the sergeant is, apparently, making his very last move to be close to a woman; he’s trying desperately to breathe one last breath near a woman. There was the built in ability to minipulate and dominate her. He should have been brought up on charges of statutory rape. Maybe he wanted to try and convince people he was too loving, too good of a man and that his wife and himself had a good relationship. Also, he probably knew that you would make a public announcement of some sort about how “great” his home was and how loving the enviromnent around the children was made. But, looks aren’t every thing… a man can kiss and hug his wife in public and when they are alone he could be beating her, it’s called putting on a front…

First and foremost it should not be forgotten that he is a police offficer. Since he is a police officer I’m assuming he continues his education classes as required by his state yearly. If you haven’t been in law enforcement you have no clue as to the extensive training they go through. The combination of training and experience with “dumb” criminals, I believe has taught him how not to get caught. And on top of that a police officer mask his emotions on a daily basis. They see alot of incredibly horrific scenes and still have to maintain a professional composure, so he’s had “training” there too. I have to agree with Boomer Sooner. Why was it necessary to put yourself in that situation? I could understand if if were for the safety of one of the children inside at the time you were there. This guy thinks that he’s a real ladies’ man. What normal guy–especially one who is a suspect in his wife’s disappearance–is going to tell you that he is a good kisser? How inappropriate? This is something that Scott Peterson would have done, too. What’s that tell you? This guy said that as a way of flirting with you, hoping that you would flirt back. This is the first that I’ve read about this story, but I believe he gave you a tour simply because he wanted to reaffirm mostly for himself that he has and still is providing for his family and that since he was able to get by after losing his 3rd wife… things will be o.k. and he’ll get by after this one… its business as usual for him and surely you will understand him… besides… he’s a good kisser… what a pathetic excuse for a human being!

I think that Drew Peterson is GUILTY. I have a daughter and grandson that I pray for everyday. They are both still alive because my daughter got away from someone just like this Peterson guy. He is a liar, manipulator, an actor and very good at trying to make himself the center of attention and the victim. I am so sick of this stuff. It is happening all of the time and no one really understands it until it hits them. Let me tell you, I certainly have a better understanding for domesitc violence. It is a LEARNED behavior. Early on in this story, a neighbor said that he had helped Drew remove a large heavy storage container from the house. That’s the only time I’ve ever heard it mentioned. Was any followup ever done on this?

I think the more interesting/disturbing question is why did he tell you he’s a good kisser? I read that and immediately thought of Joe Namath being interviewed on the sidelines and telling ESPN reporter Suzy Kolber that he wanted to kiss her. I don’t know if that means he was drunk or under some kind of influence, but to me it was sick. If he had told me that … that would have been the end of the tour.

Drew took you on a tour of his house because he perceived a signal from you that you liked him or that you were easy to manipulate. He was hitting on you when he said he was a good kisser. You were supposed to find out if that was true. This guy is out there and I really doubt he was trying to show you what a great family man he was or that he had nothing to hide. You were the date he was showing his home to period. I wonder if the reason he is hiding his face is because he can not look at it even in a mirror or on a news scene. Do you remember him looking in a mirror as you walked by any in the house? Do not expect him to be rational, he is in total denial of everything to himself as well as the public. He probably really believes he is in danger and has expressed this to people. He lost his control over Stacey and the house painting was the final straw.

Probably because the man is a control freak….and a warrant on his house was something that was out of his control. Taking you on a tour and telling his “side” of things, he was taking back some control in his life.

Also, you are attractive and he’s on the prowl for his next victim….err, I mean “wife”. Better watch out!

Why did he take you on a tour of his home? This freak reminds me of Ward Weaver.

For those of you who don’t remember Ward Weaver; do a search on Miranda Gaddis and Ashley Pond. Ward invited a reporter into his home for a tour and lo and behold Miranda was suspected as being in the freezer at the time of the interview. Ashley was buried in a barrel under a concrete slab that he and the reporter were standing on. Looking back at the interview you can see Ward laying his hand on the freezer and looking very sheepish with a smile on his face. As the reporter walked by the freezer you can see Ward look back at her and smile. Same with when they were standing on top of Ashley on the concrete slab. Sociopaths….Very very sick individuals.

I’m glad you got out of there safely but I advise you to think back and think about his movements and eye contact. It could be a clue as to where Stacey is.

I think he was sizing up wife number 5. In denying he’s done anything wrong and when the truth comes out perhaps might even say..’they deserved it’. Being in denial allows him to be open for any other opportunities that come his way..ie Jamie..kinda pathetic when ya think about one wife missing and exhuming another..what happened to his first two wives?

He took you into the home because you are young and attractive. He could have taken any reporter into the house but for that reason he chose you. Looking at his track history I am sure he is on the prowl for wife #5, hopefully he gets locked up before then.

I heard that Drew Petersons first wife dies of Natural Causes. I figure she was about 28 so that may be a murder as well. Who rarely dies at 28 of Natural causes? I hope someone will clear this up!!1 wonder what happened? He then marrys at 28 to another woman???

Why did he give you a tour? The answer is simple- he is a sociopath. Time and time again I see these tragic stories because these sociopaths are more prevalent than the population is aware of. I highly recommend to you and your viewers the book”The Sociopath Next Door”… having this author who is a psychologist on FOX would do a service to the public until we become aware of how they disguise themselves in society we will continue to see thsese tragedies.

boy…who thnks of what a good kisser they are when their (4th) wife is missing.. is that what you would tell a guest - then take them on a tour? I think you got the tour because you seemed like the one that would buy his story.. and not judge him… he is sick sick sick. His behavior screams weirdo.

I would say the first two wives of Drew Peterson are probably hiding and I would guess he has more children. Those children are probably adults. If I were them, I would be hiding from the media too.

Hopefully Stacy will be found. If I were he, and was innocent, I would be beyond grief. The man shows no remorse at all.

Was the coroner who examined his last wife’s body incompetent, or was he a friend of Peterson’s?
Sounds very fishy to me. This is obviously a very sick man, and the children should definitely be with someone else during this time. I think if they know anything, they would be terrified to tell.

Why did he take you on a tour of their home? It is difficult to view the world through some peoples’ minds. Drew Peterson is one of those people. Typically, inappropriate and shallow jokes in a time of extreme hardship are the mind’s effort to avoid deeper contemplation of a serious matter at hand. Reports and photographs of Drew Peterson’s erratic and inappropriate behavior offer a glimpse of a man who lives a self-absorbed world. The things he said (and you did not print out of your own good character - thank you) were an attempt to character assassinate his wife. However, what he offered you was the most bare and honest view of himself, for everything the self-absorbed say about another person is in fact the most honest appraisal of themselves.

Who knows what is really going on in that guy’s head, but if you go back be careful and keep someone with you. This guy may decide to go out in a blaze of glory and we wouldn’t want you caught in the crossfire!

Where are Drew Peterson’s first two wives?? Why haven’t we heard anything from or about them? If it has been covered, I must have missed it, but I have been following the case very closely and I don’t recall hearing anything about them.
