I guess Drew Peterson trusts you and he seems to like you. I am very concerned about those young children being left with him. I hope they’re safe.

Why has Drew decided to start giving interviews? My guess is he’s getting claustrophobic, he’s had plenty of time to work on his story, or he’s trying to see if he can get any sympathizers on his side. If he did have something to do with Stacy’s disappearance he’s probably relaxing more since she hasn’t been found yet.

You had stated that some things he told you would not be repeated for the sake of Stacy’s family, were they the same things he said in his interview with Matt?

Even and maybe especially a deranged killer likes to talk with a pretty girl when he gets the chance. It is good that you are now just talking with him over the phone and keeping your distance from him. Maybe he will tell you more than he has told others. I expect him behind bars within the next couple of months.

This is a very sad mess and it looks bad for the guy, imo. What do you think? Is there a snow ball’s chance that Stacy is off living it up in a bikini and ignoring all of this?

His older children MUST know what is going on. They have friends and also the ability to watch TV when Drew is out. They must know and it has to be difficult for them. Don’t expect any truths from him, other than his own personal concerns. Please ask again, what he claims Stacy took with her when he said that she left. I believe that he originally said she took sheets. Is that a hint at what he wrapped her up in?
Also, please ask what time he picked up the Salvio kids and what day. She would have been alive at that time.

I am glad Drew is speaking with you! Innocent until proven guilty in the USA! He is the voice of the children also! I am not saying he is innocent, so please do not read anymore into this. If he can build trust with someone, that is what matters. You are a fantastic reporter and he sees that. Can he say how Stacy was handling the fact that the children were getting older and more rambunctious, the little ones, doing more, and the teen going through the teen years, and that Stacy needed more time for herself, just to be a better mom? and how he would handle that giving her more time to be alone to do what she wanted? Most moms need that time..especially with little ones…who are running around..they need to get away for a while and turn to their husbands and tell them that.

I’m very freaked out at how this murder was covered up by both Il. state and Bolingbrook local police in 2004 ! It’s very scary ! It goes without saying many backs were turned to cover for Drew for many years.

Why is the FBI not investigating state and local police? State police did do NOTHING in 2004 to get the truth to the public ! They covered up the entire crime scene, as did Bolingbrook PD.

What makes us think we can trust the now ? Many officers in Bolingbrook must come clean !

It is scary to know those children are with him. What scares me the most is that he may kill his kids and then himself to avoid being charged. If he did kill these women he should be given the death penalty and not sit there for years to come. I feel so bad for these women’s families. They have been through so much and more to come. As for sympathy for Drew, I have none. I never believed him on TV and still don’t. Their is to much evidence against him to believe him. May these women finally rest in peace. I heard he is an avid flyer? If true, who knows where Stacy could be and that is why he is so confident. This man was deemed a “flirt” by a friend of his on TV and said the entire town knew it, I would not want this man flirting with me. I do not find him attractive at all. I look at
people like that as perverts. If he was so happily married as he claimed, why flirt? These two women are very beautiful women and the need to flirt shouldn’t be their. IF he did it, may he burn in hell!!!

I am still unclear if state police have talked to Drew’s teenage boys ?

When you interview Drew for the name of the lock smith he called at Kathleen’s house?

On the Sunday that he said he spoke to Stacy at 9pm, why is America’s Most Wanted saying that the police have no record of this call?

Also, days after Stacy’s was reported missing, I was told that the 4yr old said that “Mom left with another man?”

Since Dr Bardon reported Kathleen’s case is a homicide, does he have any ideas who may have done this?

Since wife #1(through husband) and wife #2 in Chic Trib, why are they both reporting abuse. Starts off good relationship, verbal or physical abuse, he has an affair…..

He has said, “Stacy is where she wants to be…, ” does he have a location or a name of a person she would want to be with. Since it has been reported that he watched her so closely, he should have some ideas to share with the Illinois State Police.

was wondering why doesn’t he want Stacy back? isn’t that what was reported?

I seen the interview and I would pretty much without a doubt guarantee he did it. He got rid of all of them. Think about it. Everytime someone is guilty they dec ide to have an interview. If it was me and I was innocent I would be to upset to talk to anyone even if we were split up.

Hi, I have a couple things that I would like to get off my chest. Am a police detective for 21 years
and one of the most important things you do when listening or interviewing a suspect or when a suspect speaks out is focus on what he or she is saying. Mr. peterson in numerous statements to the media and in his interview on the today show when asked do you want to supculate on where
is Stacey. His answer is always “where she wants to be”, that to me is a very important comment.
And here is why he is telling you she is or could be where she always wanted to go or ! be example speical surrounding,cemetary with her sister, her favorite lake,the investigators working
on this case need to ask questions to the family,Mr. Peterson himself,friends, any one that could give light.
on further leads.

This is a terrible case, I hope it does not go away into obscurity like the Stebic case. I also wonder since when you check Drew’s history with women, when he quits one he always has another laying in wait. This time, he’s giving the impression he does not have another honey but does he?

I see DP’s personality hasn’t changed since I worked with him years ago. But to convict him because his womanizing and abusive behavior is being touted in the media is wrong…jury tainting could occur from such wide media coverage and help to lose the case if one is ever made against him. However, media coverage could also help to find Stacy. I do have to take exception with Sam’s comment about the ISP and Bolingbrook PD covering up something with the scene of the 3rd wife. When I worked for the department, in crime scene, they sent me to the best training available. I learned a lot from Dr. Baden’s work during that time… Never once did co-workers or others up the chain of command interfere with my processing of any scene. I don’t for a moment believe that those now working for BPD would intentionally cover up a homocide for a fellow officer. Lets not slander the law enforcement community for the possible actions of one of their employees. Don’t let one possibly bad individual taint all, as those occasional incidents tend to do. IF DP did this; he’s learned a lot in 30 years. I still know several officers on the BPD and to this day I’d trust them with my life. Let the law enforcement do their investigation…with all the media surrounding this I doubt you have need to fear any cover-ups. Put your energies where it will help, find Stacy.

John (comment above) I agree he is giving us a “hint” as to where to find her - it’s as if she told him: “I’d rather be dead and buried than live with you” so … he gave her what she wanted! Sad but very likely he is using that statement in a smug way to justify what’s happened to her.

I wish the searchers would organize each day in front of his house, and end the day everyday marching like they did last night. He can never rest until he comes clean on this.

Seems to me that Stacy had far too much to lose and very ,very little to gain by just up and walking away with her ‘mystery’ man ,like Drew is insisting. First of all ,she has her babies ;two precious toddlers who have depended on her since birth and for whom she’s loved and cared for more than life itself. If she wanted out of the marriage wouldn’t she just ‘hang in there’ and go through the legal process of divorcing and getting her fair share ,of probably what would be a considerable settlement ;after all she’s had two of Drew’s children and she certainly would be entitled to a respectable and considerable dollar amount to take care of their needs. Also would she ,if she were alive and seeing the media coverage ,just out of spite ,make all that love her ,worry needlessly and cause so much heartache to them? What could possibly explain this? Is she ‘punishing’ Drew by keeping the ‘heat’ on him ,and if so ,WHY? What did he do to her to cause her to behave this way? Is she just having a very bad menstrual cycle this time around and the longest one ever? Or is she incapable of telling those that are desperately searching for her and thinking and worrying 24/7 ,because ’she’s where she wants to be’? I believe in innocent until proven guilty and don’t like to see an innocent person convicted of a crime they did not commit ,not to mention the murder of their own children’s mother. But please…….there just so much wrong with this whole picture! Drew Peterson is worried about the media making this case a source of ‘entertaining’ the media vultures ,but Drew seems to be enjoying his ‘acting’ role very much lately and perhaps he may qualify for an academy award for his spectacular performance. Straighten your tie and take a bow, the audience is enjoying ‘the show’. Excuse me for not entirely ‘buying’ your story ,Drew. PS. If I’m wrong and Stacy shows up alive and well ,I would be thrilled for her family and relieved and I would also humble myself to apologize to Mr. Peterson. I guess time will tell……hmmm?

How sad this is. He knows that no one will ever find her that’s why he is acting so cocky in front of the camera’s. I hope he goes to jail for his 3rd wife’s murder. I think that’s going to be the only way to put him away.

Drew Petersen is way to smart to hide Stacey’s body anywhere near his home. If I was the FBI I would begin searching near landfills and quarries between Oakbrook Terrace and Elmhurst. There is alot of wooded areas and areas I think he was familiar with when he was a Oakbrook cop. Besides, it is obvious the one Oakbrook friend of his has something to hide. I think Stacey was still friends with him long after Drew bumped into the two that day. All I can say is I am surprised that they don’t have enough evidence in his home. If she only weighed a hundred pounds it would be really easy to put her in one of the sewer’s also. Those blue coned shaped tubs can easily be shoved in a man hole. I wish I could of been out there helping everyone today. I will keep praying someone finds her.

Me and my wife live in northern wisconsin I have been following this peterson case from the get go. I told my wife a few days ago if I were in drew petersons shoes I would demand a lie decetor test to proclaim my innocence. I would also welcome the news media on the results of such a test.But just as i told my wife i will give you ten to one odds peterson would not take one and guess what???????? Are we hiding behind our lawyer or do we truley have something to hide?You be the judge.

I really feel that this man is so much responsible for something terrible happening to his wife Stacy, and it is so sad for her family and small children.

The ONE thing that I feel the media AND the reporters camped outside his home–SHOULD DO–is STOP treating him as though he is a Celebrity and want to see every move he makes and every word he says !!!!!!! Has anyone looked to see if she had a myspace or e-mail account and followed up on chats or friend request weeks prior to her coming up missing. If she knew her husband could get their phone records and find out who she was talking to on the phone or cell, wouldn’t it just make since for her to have an account that he couldn’t get into? My wife just made a good point to me ” I love her but, even she doesn’t know my passwords” and why wouldn’t news people such as FOX,CBS disclose who she was chatting or writing?
