See if you can find out if your next flight is on the same plane that your original flight was supposed to be. If so, there may have been nothing wrong with the plane, but instead the airline didn’t have the required crewmembers for the flight. I’m hearing of similar delays here on the east coast because certain crews were “misplaced” during the Thanksgiving Day rush. Even if they are short only one FA, they can’t takeoff and have to wait for one to show up, usually from another incoming flight.

I saw a segment on the local news this morning regarding this police car…..pretty awsome. Have you seen the police drone that they’ve been testing? It’s a smaller version of the military drone presently being used in Iraq and Afghanastan. It’s lens zoom and infra-red capabilities make it a perfect search vehicle without endangering the officer in the field.

I think when I lived in South America and Mexico, I probably drank amoeba water as I always drank tap water- lord knows what I might have ate, eating at those street stands-

If and when this cop car comes out- remind me to stay out of the way when it is doing 155- or if behind me decides to go from 0 to 60 in 6 seconds-

Adam, while you are sitting there, lol, how do you get your internet service in places like the cab you were in. I have been looking into getting a wireless card from my cell phone service…is that what you do? I have heard they are really slow. Any ideas?

me too- I am a people watcher- I watch everyone and I try to create a story- At the grocery store, while standing in line, I even watch people- And I love to engage in conversations with nice people- as I did yesterday at Trader Joe’s- the man was on his way to play golf- and he just retired from the Air Force- (I offered to let him go ahead of us because he had only one item and he declined- and this is how we got started talking)

And heck yes- why travel and spend those hours at the airport waiting for our flight- Adam is doing it for us- (although I am getting confused as to where I am in California now and what year-I have jumped from the Gold Rush to state parks in our picture of the day)

Sitting at the airport is bad enough when you don’t have a delay. I had an American Airlines 4 hour flight that turned into 12 hours once. It started out with a plane problem, so I missed my connection and they couldn’t have cared less. I did get a $150 voucher (after I wrote a letter), that I never used. I will never not fligh Delta again!

Bad day for me too. I went to have a crown put in today, and my dentist dropped it on the floor. Wait, I’m not done. He stepped on it too, now it’s in two pieces.

But anywy……….I know you will eventually get to Las Vegas Adam and like Susan said, good thing you went a day before. I hope you don’t lose too much time away from the slots and tables now.

Adam I am a people watcher. I love to make up stories about the people I see and guess their relationship. Yesterday I saw an older man about 55, and his wife (had a ring) looked about 15 but I do think she was about 20. I thought about Drew Peterson, then I saw her giving him directions so that theory went out the window. Today I saw a couple where the husband told her which chairs to sit in the waiting room at the doctor. After he checked in, he motioned and she got up and followed him. Neither of them spoke a word, I am sure he is a very controlling husband. I have been at too many doctors offices, there are so many people to watch.

For me Adam you have great pickings to watch. Who is really happy to see the person, who is drunk?
