Drew Peterson Update: The “Third” Trucker Writes the Colbyfiles
I was checking the comments sent to the Colbyfiles today and noticed a personal note from Allan Scott:
“I am the trucker that jamie interviewed; I don’t know what happened between drew peterson and myself has any signifigance or bearing on what may come but I know it was him I saw and if he did do it then maybe premeditation can be proved. I documented my location with a gps from my truck (no there’s no way to “fake” it), and gave jaimie access to my cell account directly so she could verify the 911 call. Jaimie also got copies of my logs which are legal federal documents and match my gps. There was some other info to prove I was telling the truth as I am very aware that the image of truck drivers is not a good one. I hope that whoever did this gets whats coming to them because they left the kids without a mother and that is the part that bothers me the most. By the way I don’t know anything about the other 2 truckers and had contacted the FBI quite a few days earlier (before the story of the contact with dp had come out).

Allan is the trucker – not one of the two Illinois Police disclosed claimed they were asked by Drew Peterson to carry a package – but another trucker who contacted me when I was in Bolingbrook to say he had an incident happen at the same “55″ truck stop 13 days before Stacy Peterson disappeared and that he was 100 percent certain it was with Drew.
So concerned that day was this seasoned hazmat trucker, he called 9-1-1 (a call the Bolingbrook PD confirmed to Fox took place) and the FBI. Allan even noted it in his trucker log that two men flashing badges had blocked the exit to the truck stop and he believed he and his hazardous materials load were being threatened.
Some of you have asked why is this relevant if it took place BEFORE Stacy disappeared. Well first, Allan Scott thought it significant enough to report it to the authorities that day. He noted it in his log. He escaped to what the log refers to as a “safe haven”. When he saw Drew’s photo in the media AFTER Stacy’s disappearance, he was certain something about the interaction he had with the man blocking his exit – a man he still believes 100% was Drew -was not right.
I commend Allan for coming forward. He did not do it for publicity or to be on television. He did it because he believed it was the right thing to do and that maybe it would provide some clue to police. Illinois State Police have in fact now talked to Allan Scott.
The Grand Jury continues to look into the death of Drew’s third wife Kathleen Savio and last week Drew’s son Stephen, an Oakbrook police officer, made a second appearance. To date Drew has not been charged with anything but remains a prime suspect in Stacy’s disappearance.
DO YOU THINK DREW PETERSON WILL BE CHARGED? DO YOU THINK AUTHORITIES ARE DOING A MORE THOROUGH INVESTIGATION NOW THAN THEY DID AFTER KATHLEEN SAVIO DIED?

I believe the guy, but I still don’t know what it means. What did they say to Allen when they stopped him?
Right now it looks like Mark Fuhrman is doing a better investigation than ISP, but we do not know what all they know.
Jamie, I read your follow up last week about the trucker and was satisfied with that,I don’t blame him for wanting people to know the truth, I would do the same. He seems to be honest and very concerned, I admire that……I do think the case about Stacy is full speed ahead, but I think Drew may get arrested for the murder of Kathleen Savio first, and hopefully at some point Stacy’s murder…Because I do think he is responsible for both…and possibly more….he seems to have a very darkside….I am praying for justice….and closure for these families…and most of all, for her innocent children….
Jamie, thanks for updating this story. I too think it is relevant but not sure why yet. Since this story, we’ve also had other stories that play into this trucker’s timeline…the “accidental” shot through the bedroom floor and Stacy’s visit to her pastor to tell him she knew dp killed Kathleen. Hopefully, we will one day see how all these things interplay.

It appears the authorities are waiting until the canal is fully checked. Hopefully, charges will be brought before Xmas. But my gut says it will drag into 2008.
On th surface, yes it does appear the investigation is going better. It was good to see Pam Bosco going on tv and reprot after their meeting with ISP. They are encouraged.
Can you find out from Mr. Scott if he told anyone about this incident – perhaps that is where the other two truckers got the idea to make up that story. It is so coincidental.
There didn’t seem to be an investigation into Kathleen’s death. They are going to charge him in Kathleen’s death if the cell phone records and the autopsy support it.
Thanks Jamie for reporting this. I too, am very impressed with Mr. Scott because he has not appeared on TV, seemingly only to seek his 15 minutes of fame. Thank you Mr. Scott, in your efforts to see that justice is served.

well they didnt do right on salvios death what makes ya think there doing right for stacy peterson , maybe some of the police are covering something up or covering there own buts. we can just hope an pray shes ok.
I think they will find him guilty but it may take a long time- but I think he made the cell phone ping near canals there to throw off the authorities- he knows just how that works- I think he threw her in the trash in pieces! did anyone check landfills?? didnt trash run the week she was gone ? I think the part where he had relative help him move something was to also throw things off his trail. He has been in law enforcement so long that he could easily commit the perfect crime
I do hope that Fox News will continue to bring the latest news updates regarding the search for Stacy Peterson and the ongoing criminal investigation of Drew Peterson and that the FBI, States Attorneys, ISP and the individual investigating agencies will persue prosecution of Drew Peterson with vigor and diligence.
I feel that Drew Peterson knows much more than he is willing to speak about and it seems that Drew Peterson, after being a cop for so many years, highly experienced in investigating and hearing other cop stories about soo many murder cases, could have easily pulled off killing another one of his wives, Stacy.
Drew Peterson seems fairly confident that no one is going to find Stacy’s body. by some of his statements of “investigators wasting their time searching”
I agree with the person who posted the message about throwing Stacy’s body in the trash in pieces, or another thought that comes to mind is, Has anyone checked the Creamatorium located near Bolingbrook? To my knowledge there is a Crematorium in the Bolingbrrok/Romeoville right off of Route 53 , has anyone checked into wheter Drew Peterson had a buddy do him a favor by getting rid of Stacy’s body the evening that she disappeared.
The supposed control-freak, Drew Peterson, has never publicly shed one tear over or displayed one moment of grief over or even spent one day looking for his “missing” wife stacy in all this time, claiming she ran off with someone. That in itself is incredibly suspect. Then, he quit his job, which has given him a whopping $6,000-a-month pension. Along with that, he secretly funnels $250,000 to his son. Then, Peterson’s lawyer, who seems no brighter than Peterson nor keeps him out of harms way, smugly slanders a pastor who met with Stacy before her “disappearance.” Stacy Peterson’s body is out there – just where? I’d like to see the law indict Peterson’s scumbag lawyer in this too.
Could it be that eventually DP did find someone to transport something? Or maybe it was a test run to get someone in the habit so they’ll do it again? Or they wanted to find out if it was easy or not to get someone to transport something? If someone transports something for him, then he can be somewhere else, and have an alibi to his whereabouts.

I got a sick feeling the body of stacy has been liquified with some sort of acid. I hope there is enough circumstantial evidence to move forward with the case.

iam very up set with the drew petterson case. if he really did do something with stacy one day he will have to answer to his maker. it is a terrible thing what this world is coming to. if you don;t want to be married to your husband or wife any more, please don;t kill them, just leave. i feel bad for the kids, they will grow up with out a mother. if you did this to stacy may god help you.
The trucker’s report factors. WHAT IF? Drew premeditated the murder, knew the end was coming and was ready to kill this wife but knew it would take a lot more effort than the bs bathtub scene #3 was found in. He was scoping out the hazardous materials shipping through the area, looking for a barrel of materials caustic enough to dissolve his beloved in. The $25K he said she took with her probably paid for assistance or silence, another cop was more than likely involved, his son is a cop, how nice. He chose a weekend to dispose of her, didn’t want to miss work. But his disorganization and the cars coming and going that last night indicate it may have played out with more drama/anger than he anticipated. But he was probably working up to the murder, just trying to figure a way to do it and not get caught. This is all speculation and theory, the investigation will bear out the final details that will tell us something, eventually. The press have taken the police’s ability to cover it up away, it will resolve. She may never be found, tho.
WE need more theorys that is what solves crimes,could he be threating ill tell what you did to my ex wife if you dont go, or could those other women that were mising around the same time have a connection,remember a women in a dumpster around the same time and another woman missing and found weeks months apart?Theorys ,and speculations. And now a woman found near a blue?He is arrogant for sure ,kind of cocky like a man that nows he did not do it.(DOES NOT MEAN HE DID NOT)
I watched Nancy cause it’s seems Greta isn’t covering it anymore. Anyway they Had Joel Brodsky on and as usual he was dodging bullets. What hit me the most was he said he was sure Stacy wasn’t dead and that she ran away with another man. If he stands b ehind that statement it means he should know who that man is and where he is. Nancy said if he didn’t do it and had nothing to hide why doesn’t he come on her show, she’d like to ask him a few questions. As I’m sure Greta would also. I don’t care if she ran away with 10 men I still think she would try and get in touch with her family!!!!!! The new thing is Peterson said he is getting death threats but didn’t turn them over to the Illinois State Police. He gave them to Brodsky. I hope this doesn’t turn into a Natalee case where if they don’t find the body he will be a free man. Is there anyway that the “blue Barrel” could of had acid in it. Can a body be disposed of in this manner?
Jamie… What’s going on with Drew Peterson? The press needs to keep the “pressure” on this guy because Stacy deserves justice.

He looks totally guily…they should @ least kept him locked up until the investigation is done…we’re talking 2 women here…he done it out of jealousy & control…
All the clues are there, cell phone was planted to record a location on an incoming call, blue barrel was a distraction, her body was in her car at the airport which was driven to his airplane loaded up, flowen out and dumped out, probably in a deep wooded revine.
