Check These Links
Here are a couple of links that are in the news today that you might find of interest. The first works great this time of year, especially if you like to watch flights, or if you are making a trip by air for Christmas or New Years. This is a link to the live flight tracker, you can see all the planes in the air at any given time FLIGHT LINK
The second link comes from the Herald Tribune in Florida. The paper has compiled a nationwide list of licensed educators who states report have had action taken against their certificate. The types of behavior that lead to sanctions may include serious misconduct or relatively minor issues, including contract disputes or failure to repay student loans. NEWSPAPER LINK
OK, fess up people………and remember it’s the Holiday season, so be honest. Who typed their name in that search and exclaimed “Oh, Sh..”
Watching FlightTracker can give you a great perspective of what the guys and gals that we don’t see when we fly have to put with every day. I’m talking of course about our air traffic controllers, who, for the most part, do an incredible job keeping all those aluminum tubes seperated.
Adam…these are fantastic links!
John.. oh gheez! I missed that one!
Adam ~ Thanks a bundle for the FlightAware link!!!! SO interesting & useful!!
May you enjoy a most wonderful holiday Christmastime with your family!!!
Are your pruned grape vines used in any way?…..especially for Christmas??? Years ago I used to gather the cuttings in our old farm panel truck from a local winery to make wreaths, etc.
We would love pics & tales Adam!!??!!
To Everyone:
May you all have a wonderful and warm Christmas and may each day in 2008 be a safe and productive one.

Thank you for all the fun,

Wowie Adam!!!!!!!…………that’s what I call a weeding task & achievement!!! In that valley heat, 32 days & 6 acres…….. Oh my…..oh my…….. You earned your 1st bike and most likely that was just a part of forming the foundation to your success!!!! Super parents!!!!!!!
Your Fan Club will patiently await pixs w/ stories!!!! Thank you!
PS………4got 2 add……….SO cool that YOU still have your 1st bike!
Adam: how many lame bikes had you had before then?
Great links, Adam. Thanks. I love seeing the planes in the sky…..and it does give a greater understanding to the pressure the Air Traffic Controllers are constantly under.
And I typed two names into the second database of people that I know have had run-ins with the law, but neither produced an entry. Curious.
Have a wonderful weekend and a Merry Christmas. We’re driving to OK tomorrow to spend Christmas with family………and I can’t wait.
Thanks for the links Adam! The teacher one I was hoping to find, we have many teachers that I question their ability to add 2 + 2 much less teach above that. So far I didn’t find any I suspected.
Adam I love the bike story. My kids have to chop wild mustards if they misbehave. During spring I give them a week for each day they don’t behave. One summer my oldest had three weeks of chopping mustard, soon he learned to do what he was told. Hard work is a great teacher, and the value of what is important. It worked so much better than soap in the mouth!

Thanks for the links. I tried all my teachers from high school…nothing. Even my creepy English teacher Mr. Finicum didn’t show anything. Did anyone get any results?

Very true about the hard working ATC operators. Definetly the unsung heroes, we only hear about them when there is a “close” call. There are some cool links were you can listen to live ATC from various airports around the country. I’d post the link here for the best one I found, only now I can’t find it!
Hmm…I can’t believe the algebra teacher that twirled his mustache and chewed on it didn’t come up. Maybe it was just a bad habit.
Most of my other teachers were nuns…they might be on another list? I’m bad!
What are we suppose to do if we find someone on this list? I guess if they are teaching we have to pursue and find out exactly why they are on here and tell on them?
The Air traffic picture scares me! They do an amazing job; probably overworked and underpaid.
Student loans? I am still paying mine–
I am proud to say Danielle was in ATC when she worked in Special Intelligence while in the Air Force–
I can barely park my car– And I can’t find my way out of paper sack– and this is the truth-
Thanks for the flight link, that’s all so fascinating.
Happy Holidays everyone!
