John.. Bush gave 2 billion dollars to Katrina victims plus they had another 2 billion + sent to them from other resources. That whole Katrina event failed at State level from the moment it happened. With all that money you would think that the Katrina victims would be back on track. What a sad story.

You’ve probably heard the saying, “good leaders lead by example”. I think that is the case here. Jennifer LA… I’m very concerned, especially in his last year of office and Bhuttos recent assasination. I know one has nothing to do with the other but the point is they seem to have no problem killing prominent figures. Whether you like Bush or not, he’s still America’s President. His assasination would be a huge vistory for Al Quida. The guy that made that video was the one from California that joined Al Quida. Apparently he’s the head of that chapter. One would think that he needs to make a name for himself and this would be one way of doing it.

i used to love forensic detective when i was like 7 or 8, (not that long ago) but my parents banned me from watching it as it was on when they wanted to eat. I was happy to eat while watching it, so i don’t know why they complained

Thanks for explaining the time differences. I was shocked when I found that Texas was only 6 hours different. To me I feel like Texas is West. Well southwest. But apparently not west enough.

I am originally from Indiana. And for the longest time we didn’t use daylight savings time. Only in the past few years have they started it. So since we never changed, I never thought much about what other places were doing.

Oh and I am with you guys about watching those forensic type shows. FBI archives, Forensic Detectives, I even LOVE those trauma shows that they used to have on Discovery Channel, that shows real life cases in ER’s. I call those shows Blood and Guts. I guess I am a bit morbid. Altho, lately I have been having a hard time watching some of the CSI and SVU shows myself. Also that show called Most Evil, about serial killers. So I have been avoiding some of the more gruesome shows.

I love the hospital and ER type shows because I always wanted to go into medicine, and always dreamed of being a Paramedic. Now I am too old and disabled to pursue it, so the shows are the closest I can get. Altho, I will still stop at an accident site like I have many of times, to help victims if needed.

That story about the guy in Texas who cooked his girl friends body parts was just disgusting. I cannot believe that someone could do such a thing.

Oh and that 12 year old who took a bat to the toddler just because she was crying while he was trying to watch TV was insane! What is happening to our children these days?

Amy: Sweden is UTC+1. Arizona is -7, making it a time difference of 8 hours. Remember Arizona is in the west.
Texas is mainly -6, with a small part of the very west being -7. So that would be a 7 hour difference mainly.

I had the honor to translate an article some attorney wrote in Venezuela where she insulted Fox, Adam, and anyone affiliated with Fox News– it was en español– and I translated it– Adam posted it but he already knew what the article was about– sometimes I get odd jobs where I get paid to translate– usually by friends and by mouth– my big one was the consensus for the Commonwealth of Virginia for the school district– I had my dad’s friend in Panama help me– as he is much more versed in the more sophisticated terminology– (and I also have done translation for the Justice Court here in Surprise- Judge Delaney– he is a very cool guy- he only works there part-time) — Ken is allowed to sit in the court room- as I can’t leave him alone-

Haven’t heard about a virus Susan, but there was the case of the woman that has TB and flew from India to the states, ended up in a California hospital with an advanced case. 40 people that sat close to her are being searched for. Reports are saying (last week) that this problem could connect with 19 other states because Chicago was just a stop-over. I’m not sure of the symptoms of TB, I think high fever is one.

Speaking of Everett, my darling brother, Earl called me to tell me a good friend of ours, sister, died in New York City– from a virus– Patricia, a teacher, went to New York City on December 28th to celebrate her birthday- 50- and on the 31st she was admitted into the hospital— where she was told she had pneumonia– her all her vitals started to shut down- and she died this morning– According to Earl, more people have been admitted with the same symptoms- and it is a virus—- does anyone have a clue?

I just looked it up– and birds are dropping–

She gave me my first real to have dog for me— I didn’t hang out with her- I was a tomboy so I hung out with her brother, my brother, and their friends—

Earl said she rode the helicopter there while there– she was having a blast—-

Yeah, I’d love to not have the local commercials inserted by Comcast Cable at :20 and :50 … as they jack up the sound a LOT … Apparently, they want to wake the dead FNC viewers … The commercials suck like MSNBC / CNN … LOL
