I fear that I may be blowing the investigation’s strongest advantage, that being the arrogance of Peterson, but I think that they are in the process of allowing him enough rope to hang himself. They are taking great care to allow for a preponderance of evidence, both circumstancial and forensic, before proceeding with grand juries, charges, and the like.

He seems to be playing into the hands of the officers with things like the “my love” cell phone call. If, or more likely when, it points back to him it goes to premeditation. There are other things that he has done that certainly point back to him, but I won’t mention them here. He seems to have learned some tricks along the way. I have two questions, the first being why have we heard nothing of the third’s wife exhumation?

The second being, where did he get THAT attorney? He must think that the only prayer he has of getting his client acquitted is to manufacture the smallest shred of reasonable doubt, which he/they are desperately trying to introduce into the court of public opinion. This strategy may backfire…. but one should never tell all that one knows. Undoubtedly, there is ABSOLUTELY no such thing as a perfect murder given the methods of investigation utilized today. A jury will never buy into his innocence and the Task Force has made it clear that they are not in hurry to make their case, per no statue of limitations. They will put together ALL of the evidence, and Peterson will rightfully join the 11 individuals on Illinois’ death row.

Greta can’t get a timeline out of Drew or Brodsky. Since Drew kind of likes you and since you have talked with the states attorney, why don’t you make some calls and get that timeline?

Hard to tell which direction the investigation is going, but it looks like they’re saying that they don’t believe her husband’s story that she left him to run away with another man. The conclusions I’m drawing about what they means would only be conjecture, but it’s looking like they think she was either kidnapped or murdered. Wonder what ‘additional investigative tracks’ they’re looking into?

Lynne, I think Brodsky probably sought Peterson out and not vice versa. I think Brodsky was probably looking for a high-profile case to make his name known. Unfortunately, he picked a case where the pro-bono client is making himself out to be guilty as sin, but, hey, I know the name Joel Brodsky. I think he’s slime, but I know his name.

I concur with all that Lynne stated…and pray for those poor kids living under Drew’s (and only his since he won’t let other family see them!) care. The arrogance Drew continues to show (so like another Peterson wife killer), especially now asking for money just to make a comment, give me a BREAK!, is unbelievable and I can’t wait until the day he does join those 11 and his kids are put in the charge of Stacy’s family. THEY show us what real family is like…and that Stacy would never disconnect from that voluntarily! FOX, keep up the great work bringing this story to us! Thanks!

I truly hope the authorities are accepting the offers given by mediums & psychics…this may be the only way that Stacy’s remains could be located. {I fear that he may have managed to cremate her body in a nearby crematorium. If this happened then sadly there will never be proof.}

DP is a very clever “SOB” with years of police experience which would give him the knowledge on how to commit the “perfect murder” AND set sufficient decoys & “red herrings” to keep the investigators from the real truth!

Mark Furhman did a great job on the “time-line” in the donut shop BUT I suspect that both he and Greta have been “gagged”….I sure hope the authorities are investigating this FULLY. The fact that Tom Morphey has conveniently “dropped out of sight” leads me to hope that he may be in “a safe house under police protection” until he is required to testify.

I hope that the GJ find the death of Kathleen Savio a homicide and have sufficient evidence to charge DP…at least that would get him off the streets…then America will be free to let their daughters over the age of ?10? to enjoy their lives….DONT FORGET that Drewpy is on the prowl for wife #5…if he doesn’t have the “victim” in his sights already!

New investigative resources? HMMMMMMM! For some reason, I think the key players are being protected and I do think there is something to the theory that DP got someone to move the blue containers away from BB. If a trucker wouldn’t help, maybe a long shoreman would.
I like the way this has quieted down, thats when people slip up. And he will.

I am sure that he, Drew Peterson, as a police man, knows very well all the sides of his own case. How come he wasn’t found suspect on his previous wife death? Why now? Who lead the investigation back then? Good place to start…Who rule his previous wife death as drowning? As a police man, he knows how our american justice system works and how to get out of it. An aliby? The “not found” body of his wife to formally implicate him as a suspect? No body crime - no victim - no suspect. He must know how the justice system works and how to get out of it, and without evidence he might ‘think’ he will be found innocent. But there is not perfect crime, and I am pretty sure the american justice system is getting him get along to catch him very good later. How can he be sorry about his wife death when he already wants to start dating on a radio show? Com’on!

I think with the statement made by police that they are looking at new leads that further ensconce DP as a suspect means they are starting to get proof that some of his stories are lies. ie: when he told Cassandra he was home, the sleazy text message he just happened to find on an old phone, the sightings that only Brodsky and DP have been phoned about, etc.

Plus, the fact that Tom Morphey is in protective custody means they must think he has something of value to say.

I have been getting impatient, but when you think about it, 3 months is not all that long when it comes to getting a rock-solid case together.

I am curious about the GJ proceedings re Kathleen’s death. I mean, the autopsy was done AGES ago now and I don’t know what they have to still discuss about it? I’m no expert of course. JMO.
