An AMAZING FALL
by Adam Housley
During our first day in Guyana we flew over part of the disputed area with Venezuela in a small plane. Part of the trip the pilot wanted to show us a prized possession to the Guyanese. Kaieteur Falls would be part of Venezuela if Chavez has his way. Here is a 1:30 video of the falls and I have several more behind the scenes video I will post in the next day. Hope you enjoy this amazing site!

great photo..
So why doesn’t the US send an aid package to help Guyana get some hydroelectric power form the falls ?? I would rather see my tax money/aid go to them rather than the corrupt committees at the UN!
One last thought…maybe we should email Jeff Immelt (jeff.immelt@ corporate.ge.com) to remind him that consumers weren’t fooled by his statement that GE ’s “work in Iran was due to contracts with european companies…and have taken no “new” contracts not true when one examines what they define as a “new” contract… Guyana needs electricity and the folks there simply want to live a little more comfortably and keep their country away from Chavez
Avi: The mormon one is cheapest, but i don’t think it’s one of the 20 best, i can’t find a complete list.
If the amish have their own college i can’t research about it as they don’t have a website, as the amish aren’t allowed to use the net.

Kathy: You can look around Wyoming on there. I like how most of the time apart from the road it looks like people were never there.
Max.
Wyoming is beautiful, I know you will love it.
Avi,
My brother has some stories about Amish teens, he is the first to tell me to let my sons have more freedom that I would want to. “You don’t want them ending like those Amish boys I saw, let live a little.”
Max whats the cheapest … Amish? lol
get a scholorship?
Kathy: Well Wyoming is meant to be the 3rd cheapest of the 20 best civil engineering colleges.
Max,
They say the degree is worth it. Certain Engineering school degrees guarantee higher paying jobs. That is all I have heard about.
Baylor for the record is a huge party school, and it is a private Baptist school. If you want to party there is always a place. University of Texas in Austin probably has a degree in partying. Glad I am done with college.
Adam and Tamera–
Will you name your first born if she is a girl, Susan, and if it is a boy, Susano? thanks
Signed,
Baby book names
Avi… Wasn’t Lisa Stebic missing from that area also?
Adam, you scared me when you showed the edge of where you were standing. I am afraid of heights. I think the falls are beautiful, but what causes the color, please don’t say it is pollution.
Avi,
I sure hope it is her. It certainly would bring relief to her family to know what happened. AND, just maybe closer to getting that big loser off the streets.

Tamera,
You are welcome anytime! Roger will stand by me, okay maybe not but he should.
Avi,
I can ASSURE you this is me! Tell your Sister I say hello:) And I can ASSURE you it’s ADAM as well:) LOL! And no, I have never been to Israel. Adam wanted me to go with him when he covered the GAZA Strip. But I was scared as heck! But I really want to go the next time.
P.S.
Also, don’t want to take the focus away from Adam’s site:( His bosses will kill me. I’ll join in from time to time to make sure I say Hello:)
Patty–
Or hiding in the dugout.
Hmmmm…Not a ‘69 chevelle?
Jen..she’s looking for the bat! *L*
Avi…that IS extreme! *L*
Kathy…in my world, romance was in a ‘68 chevelle!
Avi: haha, Mormon university too. It’s good value too. only $6,000 total fees per year.
Looks like Tamera has left the building. She’s not as hardcore as some of us.
Maybe I scared her with the Susan comment.
Patty-Karen Kathy– Maybe I’ll see you at picture of the day this weekend?? Thanks for playing my version today. bye for now.
What’s VMI ?
Max if you want to be away from partying and alll
check out Amish University

no partying no beer no sexy time no nothing just books lol
thats extreme
A & M is in a smaller town, and yes there is much partying. But that goes with most American Colleges, for us it is a right of passage. God knows I did it in college. But when you want a great Engineering school you want either VMI or Texas A & M. A & M is more conservative and traditional than most campuses.
As with any location there are good things and bad. Aggies stick together, they even have a ring ceremony. Shep’s dad was an Aggie.
The only reason I know about engineering is because at first my son was headed that way. But now he is steeped into Agriculture. He hopes to graduate from Texas A and M.
Max i think A &M texas= party HQ sorta
which exams did you take? what were they called
Avi,
Just know how to take it. My son is a terrific test taker but the SAT is scored different than most tests he has ever taken.
Most Texas colleges require either, I don’t know about other states or private colleges. He isn’t going in that direction. He did need to score well on Math and Science which he did score higher on the ACT than the SAT.
Kathy: is A&M a party school?
Avi: Yeah, i had to take exams for that though. All As and Bs.
i mean its not harder for what i hear*
Kathy in texas,
the ACT is more subjectly formed then the SAT ….and has more science and that kinda stuff…
its owned by the SAT as well…. its not harderd and some colleges require the SAT i believe.
since he wants to study engingerring the SAT+ ACT might be a good idea…. enigerring is big
Max you dont gotta take any exams????? just ur HS diploma will do =/ im confused
Max, from what you said you do not want to go to Texas A & M.
I would suggest you both take the ACT instead of the SAT. It is structured completely different. My son took the SAT twice and went down on the second. But with the ACT he did great. If I had known that I would have never had him take the SAT.
Lots of good school here.
Patty,
I am with you, I come from a fishing family. No way am I gonna eat any meat raw. But the romance of it and the ritual of it I get.
Okay I have to ask this is Adam Catholic anybody know? I am sure Tamera and Susan know but I don’t see them here now.
Max, you lucky basterd lol
Tamera i told my older sister that ur on the blog and she didnt beleive me shes like ” she and adam probably have people write for them .” lol
Gee, we watched sister sister. With 2 girls, what else were we going to watch? *L*
Avi: They told me i don’t need the SAT’s as i’m not an American.
Max,
I guess we all got our likes…. im just excited for the college life…. being in a big city not that im not in one already ….
Im leaning towards the D.C. area or Boston…. Brandies , American Unviersity , 3Georgetown..etc
or maybe even Harvard lol ….. that would be nice highly doubt that ….
first thing first …. gotta do very good on the SAT’s are you thinking them max or what?
Youll know what i wanna study…. lol
Tamera: i only remember one Sister Sister episode. Where your parents on the show were getting married.
Jen S was picketing Special Report for not showing Adam’s piece
Tamera

Darvette—
No I am not a writer–no one likes my jokes anyway.
I was on strike with Brit Hume—Adam’s report about Chavez did not air on the 21st like he told us it suppose to. I’ve been complaining–so I said I was on strike and not going to watch Brit. I guess, Adam didn’t know it didn’t air that night, until he read my post last night. ??
Adam is telling us it will be on tonight.
BTW- I’m not too young to have watched Sister Sister, but was too old to watch it I think when it was on, if that makes sense. AND- I’m sure Susan will have a zillion questions for You-so get your bat out!
Kathy: I’d still be sad about not getting much snow in the winter.
K2: Yeah, i like being outdoors, not much oppertunity in the middle of a city.
Avi: I want to get away from the city. Plus i’m not into partying. I want to get out of the UK as soon as possible, i hate humidity, plus all people here seem to do at University is get drunk. The alcahol is cheeper too. IDK why the government wants students to drink a lot.
Sushi is good….. i just like it without the stuff hah when we go out to dinner my familey hates it when it take the stuff out and just eat it plain with the rice and the thingy lol…. yummy…..
Tamera you been to Israel before?
ooo thanks for the update
…. GOOD look with your career and have fun and yah….. oyy Friel … shes annoying lol
how is it being a celeb… do people run up to you all the time ?
oooo Drew walks offf shep…..
sushi..*spit sputter sputter*
YUK!
I’ll stick to steak and burgers!
Ya’ll might have convinced me to try plantains…but nothing raw, especially if i can catch it with a hook!
Kenan and Kel I know all about, my oldest watched that every single day for a while. I will have to tell him one is on SNL, we are into Mad TV. Nothing funnier than Stewart!
Funny when you raise boys what you watch vs girls.
Glad to know you had a great 3rd anniversary!
Tammy! *LOL*
Welcome Darvette/Tamera.
I have no idea what any of you are talking about but what else is new.
Karen T,
Thanks so much:)
Jen S,
He was on time for our date! It was very nice! We went to KOI! AWESOME sushi restaurant.
Are you a writer? You say your off the picket lines??
Tamera
Avi,
You are hilarious!! Ironically, we were on both; Disney and Nickelodeon. Kenan and Kel, OMG! Can’t believe you remember that?? Well Kenan is currently on Saturday Night Live and Kel is doing a couple of guest spots on TV, film, and commercials. Both are great guys! IMDB.com is the best site to check out what your favorite celebs are up to.
Reference, the fox source for celeb gossip. I’ll do my best! Hee-hee! But I think Fox’s Courtney Friel is better for that.
Tamera
fra… I hear that! Chavez is so out of control and so completely untrustworthy. I really do hope the Venzuelans can conquer the Chavez issue before he completely destroys everything. It’s heartbreaking to watch and not be able to do anything to help.
and did you take the SAT’s?
Wyoming is the only state that ends with a G …… i learned that today lol….
Max…. dont you wanna go to the real american party citys like NYC , la, boston, chicago…
Wyoming is like random and near nothing lol
BTW why dont you go to college in the UK?
ADAM–
cheers
I am off the picket line!
I’ll be watching Brit tonight.
TAMERA–Hello! Congrats on 3 years.
Was Adam late for your date or on time?
Max,
lots of nice country in Wyoming.
My son is in Montana and loves it there. He is a skiier and just happens there is a ski resort minutes away. i think that was his top priority in applying there
btw i think i remember watching ur show on nickolodian or disney? when i was a little kid but i dont remember to much lol…. my sister used to watch it more lol… speaking of your show it was sorta like kenene and kel ? lol what happened to them :S
Oh the good old days …. Btw do you double as a fox source for celeb gossip lol ?
Avi I was waiting for you! I knew you would want to say hi!
oo and tamera it was quite funny when they try to put you on the spot about marriage lol… you didnt let them get it out lol
Yo wuts sup tamera
mazel tov on 3 years
Kare T,
I am too concerned about that, and I also agree with Patricia. I really wish that Chavez will not touch this issue. I hope for Venezuela to deal with this claim when a serious and democratic goverment will be in change again.
Max,
I would suggest Texas A & M, it is considered a top engineering school.
Karen2: I want to study civil engineering. I will apply to Wyoming, i don’t know which others.
Wyoming is still warmer than here in the summer!
the tamera? oops! where did that “the” come from? so much for multitasking skills!
fra… I am really concerned about Chavez using that land for his own personal gain and pushing aside the Venezuela people once again.
btw Adam….you cant “help” the Tamera with the pic of the day!!!
You gotta play fair and balanced! *LOL*
Tamera… the Darvette Mowry postings went over my head! hahaha you’re good! I saw the clip and it was a waste of my time, you, however, looked gorgeous and came off as being sincere and caring… what I did see that was more interesting was how many people that posted to TMZ telling them what a bunch of jerks and idiots they were for wasting everyone’s time by showing that clip. Many did make comments about Jack’s answer when they put him on the spot, but not many bad remarks about you. The majority stuck up for you, as they should have.
I don’t think any of us took what you said the way they presented it, they just spun it that way. Just blow it off. And Happy Anniversary!
Max,
To which colleges are you applying?
Are you picking all the warmer states?
LOL Patty!!!!
WELCOME Tamera!!!
no matter what Adam says….i’m the good one! *LOL*
Hello Tamera,
I am fairly new to Adam’s blogs, so don’t recall seeing your name (yeah, just a like a poliitcian or lawyer - “I don’t recall’)
Nice to meet you and looking forward to blogging with you.
We sure like Adam and his reports. very smart - knows his stuff.
Hey there, I thought that was you! But then I got distracted! Glad you outted yourself!
Adam looked at you very sweetly so I was okay with it. I do love to tease Adam, he allows us quite a bit of freedom which is nice.
And I am not sure if I could answer all of Susan’s Qs!
Patricia,
I think Adam has already made up his mind about this issue by only looking at one side and refusing to acknowledge the other side. I think it is pointless to keep arguing with him about the matter. The bottom line here is that was no fair trial, and therefore this is why the matter is still at the UN.
Hey Guys,
TAMERA here! I’ve actually been blogging for awhile now, under the name Darvette Mowry! I was just waiting for one of you guys to figure it out. LOL!! Anyways, I’ve really enjoyed reading your guys posts about Adam. Isn’t he great? Hee-hee! Also, thanks for sticking up for me reference the mean TMZ comment. They totally took my comments out of context..LOL! And it was on our 3rd anniversary dinner date. It must of been a REALLY slow day for them to be following me around, AGAIN!! LOL
Many blessings,
Tamera Mowry
P.S.
Adam answer Susan’s questions LOL!
I’ll need to apply for college before too long. The worst part of studying in the US is probably the initial airfair. $1200 one way is the summer cost. I would probably not come home in the summer, but for spring break, when it’s only $250 return.
Adam,
I am sorry, but the US is almost always been on the side of Britain, even back then. Brazil is another country that has interests over Guyana and I am sure they would not mind having closer access to the Caribbean Sea.
Brazil has always had ambitions of being the big guy in Latin America.
Unfourtunately I doubt Venezuela will ever have a fair trial over this.
K2
Yep and I have another applytexas.org I have to do first. Plus once my oldest is almost done the next one will be ready to go.
This is worse than farm taxes, which I do but hate!
Jen the first picture is where I live now the second is my hometown.
Kathy,
Is this your first kid off to college? Get ready for 4+ years of the FAFSA! Sure hope you do better than us at qualifying for financial aid.
We have been doing these since 2003! Know what you are going through…..
p.s. Jen - figured it was a tatoo place - just didn’t know where!
Kathy TX-
Snake River. Or do you just mean this is where you live in TX?
Patty-
*jumping* I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ohhh Susan is going to be so p*ssed! *L*
cause you know, she just couldn’t think of it!
That is cool Jen…i would so love to have them do a memorial tat for me and hubby. But he wont fly anywhere. Sooo we’ll just wait.
We (our family) all have memorial bracelets that we wear for Kathy, the kids want to have it done in a tat. As a family thing.
Okay this is truely my hometown.
Patty,
Nope I got enough to do without your house!
Okay I will play fun Friday. There you go.
Wow Kathy… can i borrow you? *L*
I’ll read the blog to you while you clean my house, you wont miss a post!! ha ha
k2.
I agree 100% about Carter. Worst president in my lifetime, but a great humanitarian. It was amazing he was a farmer. Most farmers are sharp as a tack on business and economics. But he understood nothing about either or foreign policy. I am convinced if Reagan hadn’t won, those hostages would still be there.
Adam,
The thing about Reagan that bugs me the most is now they love him. But when he was president it was so much like GWB, they absolutely hated him. Yet economically he saved the USA. So sad how we treat our current leaders.
Patty-
My hubby was there last February; the day that Anna Nicole died actually.
It is at Miami Ink. You got it!
He was in Miami for a meeting. Yoji did his tattoo.
Game over!
Avi,
I am done with college, hopefully. I have my BA. (never guess in what!)
But I do have a senior in High School, so he will be attending college in the fall. Which college? Your guess is as good as mine, in Texas there is the whole system thing. You have to be in the top 10% of your class to choose which school or score really high on the SAT or ACT (standard tests). So he is neither of these, when he gets accepted I will let you know. Right now he has a scholarship for a trade school, but he is wanting a management job in Agriculture so he wanting a B.S. Actually he is your age, I sound so old. But I had it late in life too. Basically I have to do a ton of paperwork and taxes to know if and where he will be accepted.
Patty,
Thanks I caught it the second time about Brit. Can I spank him? Okay I promise to be good.
Now to cleaning. Get lemons, vinegar, baking soda, salt, scouring powder, laundry soap and tea tree oil. I use bleach some but rarely now. All you do is combine baking soda, tea tree oil and a little bit of water for a mild but very effective scrub cleaner. Vinegar or lemons use as a acid which is a degreaser. I am “hooked”, and I do mean Addicted to “how clean is your House?”
on BBC america. I have gotten most of their recipes down. My house smells fab, and looks great. I use laundry soap to soak my tub, lemons and water to clean my microwave. The scouring powder is for my sink, another thing I can not seem to give up. Tea tree oil is a natural antibacterial and smells really good. Baking soda does almost everything in the world including treat goat bloat. So I love using it.
I think this is a good start, no more nasty chemicals Patty! you name it I can clean it.
Adam,
Thrilled Tamera is joining in. I am sorry I did not spell her name correctly the first time. She seems sweet as pie.
