UPDATE: HERE’S BRET AND ME ON SET LAST NIGHT
What is so interesting about covering election returns is how fast and furious it can be! California surprised us…allowing for an early projection though…and then there was the wicked weather in the southern state we needed to cover as well.
Bret is a great anchor and a really super guy. It’s hard to get the chance to spend time with our DC folks since like us they are always on the move. During the commercials I was able to learn more about what Bret is up to, how his beautiful wife and baby boy are doing and what it was like to spend all that time with the President for his Fox Special (if you haven’t seen it look for it to re-air soon).
This weekend we will both be covering more caucuses and primaries - keep it on Fox for the latest on the race for the White House!

I have been here at our Super Tuesday World Headquarters for a few hours now and I’ll be sticking around till Bret Baier and I finish our show at 5am eastern. In the “Greenroom”, I’ve been chatting with the newest member of the Fox family, Karl Rove about how the evening is going for each of the candidates and who might be most on edge. I can’t steal his thunder so definitely listen to what he has to say on our air.

extensively from the field. Colby has circled the globe, covering major
events, such as the tsunami from South-East Asia to Hurricane Katrina in
New Orleans. 
I really liked the interactive map that Bill used. It really helps to have a geographic context to the election.
Megyn Kelly was great also. She must have been working for about 16 hours now, what a trooper.
I thought poor Bill Krystal was going to cry though. As a republican I understand.

Republican presidents have won in the past with the South, the prairie states and two of the four large midwestern states.
It does not appear either McCain or Huckabee have proven they can win the general election using the traditional republican strategy.
The democrats have to be favored in the general election.

I watched most of your Program and agreed with most of your comments & views. One thing I can’t quite understand or comprehend is : How do John Kerry, Al Gore, Jimmy Carter, ect; ect; get the title’s of ” Super Delegates ” ?????? My comment is: ” Yuck Yuck ” and those are just for starter’s and are not laughs. Thanks for your time.

There is NO (NONE WHATSOEVER) EXCUSE OR REASON WHY ANY ELECTION COSTING 20 MILLION OR SO which is known WILL NOT COUNT TO HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED IN AN AMERICAN STATE. It has been reported that this happens often in countries such as Pakistan,Afganistan,Venezuela,Iraq but to have such a thing BE ALLOWED to occur in the Democatic UNITED STATES is a crime against each individual citizen who went to the polls in good faith to vote. I do not believe each citizen was aware that his vote would not count.WHY SPEND THE MONEY AND ENERGY FOR A PHONY VOTE! WHEN EACH CITIZEN IS DEVALUED AND DISRESPECTED-WHEN EACH AND EVERY CITIZEN IS NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE INPUT IS THIS SYSTEM,WE CEASE TO BE DEMOCRATIC. THIS IS NOT ABOUT HILLARY OR OBAMA OR WHOEVER IT WAS WHO DECIDED TO HAVE AN EARLY ELECTION-THIS IS ABOUT AN AMERICAN CITIZEN. THIS IS ABOUT HOLDING AND PAYING FOR AN ELECTION THAT WILL NOT COUNT.THIS IS ILLEGAL TO DENY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE A RIGHT TO AN OFFICIAL ELECTION. IT ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED. WHOEVER ALLOWED IT SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A REAL AND LEGITIMATE ELECTION AND ALL OF US MUST BE COUNTED IN THIS SYSTEM.
