We don’t know when it is going to happen until it happens-

as for the $300 for Christina, I don’t have a clue- But I would think the$ 300.00 would apply for a dependent as a singe parent- as the taxes one receives when one claims their children-

I have a neighbor who claims her children plus her sister’s children because her sister is a druggie and doesn’t work so my neighbor claims her sister’s children for tax refunds- She gets over $5,000 grand. And only one lives with her out of the three her sister has– go figure-

I am filing my taxes as I do every year and only claiming me as this is all I have to claim and if I get extra because of the rebate, cool- If not- I am not going to even care–

Who knows how much the government can hand out- I heard or read there is so much budgeted for this- If I manage to like be one of those who falls in the shortcoming, too bad for me-

Meanwhile, if Chavez hits my backyard, I will be fighting!

Huck is not even going to make it to the convention– He is doing this as to prove a point-

He made all these changes in his physical life, as a diabetic, for starters, and made it too, so I think he is doing this to show he is not a quitter to prove a point– simple as that-

But the numbers will not be there- but bless his soul for doing it– and I am personally running with him on this because I find it to be so entertaining!

Susan the reason I ask about the $300 is because the way it is written, the $300 for dependents comes after the section for married couples with dependents. It just wasn’t clear to me. It would make sense that I would get that, but it wasn’t written that way.

If McCain doesn’t get 1,191 delegates, then it goes to the convention, as long as Huckabee hasn’t dropped out. You need 1,191 delegates to win the nomination. So I don’t know what happens at a Republican convention.

Years ago, when Bush did this, I am a “C” so when the rebates came out, I was one of the first because my last name began with a “C” and yours begins with a “T” so you might have to wait
longer-

The 39th REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION will have a total of 2,380 delegates, with 1,191 (a majority) necessary in order for a Presidential or Vice-Presidential candidate to be nominated.

The rules for the 2008 Republican National Convention call for the following formula for determining the number of delegates:

For the 50 states:
10 at-large delegates for each state
3 delegates for each congressional district in the state
“Bonus” delegates are awarded to states which cast their electoral vote for the 2004 Republican presidential nominee (George W. Bush), such states receiving 4.5 delegates plus 60 percent of their 2004 electoral vote.
States are also given one “bonus” delegate for each of the following:
a Republican United States Senator;
a delegation in the U.S. House of Representatives which is at least half Republican;
a Republican Governor;
a house of the state’s Legislature controlled by Republicans or in which the Republican membership has increased by at least 25 percent of the total number of seats;
Republican control of both houses of the state’s Legislature.

16 at large delegates for the District of Columbia
6 at large delegates for Guam
20 at large delegates for Puerto Rico
6 at large delegates for the Virgin Islands

I can not believe how smart Ken is–

When I am doing the pictures of the day, I have Ken here with me looking at maps- (no, he does not sit neglected) I ask him to look at maps too- I have a computer room here with a couch which one can sit comfortably at and look at the computer too so when I do the POD’s I have Ken with me here. We colored the map of the United States together one day and he hit most of the states. Anyhow….

We just ran up to Walmart to get some milk and one of the greeters was there and she spoke from a different place of this world- So I asked her where she was from and she said Kosova-

Ken asked her how far Kosova was from Poland? And I asked him- where the hell is Kosava and he said to me- I think it is around Albania-

I just came home and checked- yes it is!

Adam tell Aimsley you go buy a reuseable water bottle at Wal-mart and use the home purifier. I did that for my whole family. The other type of water bottles leak a toxin after so many uses. We haven’t bought water bottles in months.
