I think Obama is trying to (his words) boil all the hope out of the American people.They cling to guns and church he says because they are bitter. O.K. then I guess that explains why he sat in his church for 20 years and listened to Wrights’ bitterness.

This isn’t about a glass ceiling, Cathy. This is about Hillary’s record and how she is trying to get votes through distorting the glass window into her record. Many rational people’s fear the dubious path she will take us down if elected President pushing us closer and closer over the edge into Socialism, Isolationism, and . If Margaret Thatcher or some other female Conservative, even Moderate were running for US President, I would not hesitate to vote for her. If McCain chooses a qualified female VP candidate will you be as generous with your vote as you are with Hillary? A female VP would indeed break a glass ceiling that seems most important to you, and very likely, if a Republican, not do it at the expense of the values of our founding and current mothers and fathers.

No one is unstoppable. But after just watching a gaggle of newswomen with their claws out(Jean Pirro and company with Martha McCallum), I am surprised that Obama isn’t doing even better than he is!! These ladies cannot hide their dislike of Senator Clinton, no matter how much they might think they can. It is quite obvious that everyone except Juan Williams is delighted that Senator Clinton is having a rough go of it. I don’t know which is worse……the fact that the pundits and the media are acting like shameless teenagers going nuts over some new rock star…..or the people who will believe the hype and vote accordingly. Shame on all of you. Instead of being proud of and supporting our first, qualified female candidate for President of the United States of America, you are afraid to say anything negative about Obama. No wonder women will never crack the glass ceiling.
I will vote for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (not afraid to use her middle name), and if that is not possible, I will have to vote republican.

Hillary can always be the Obama’s nanny or Nader’s Principal Pencil Sharpner if she ever wants to work at the White House. Her best bet is to volunteer her services as the Turkey Lady and bring the turkey named Bill to the White House around Thanksgiving and hope for a double pardon.

If Hillary really wants to get back into the White House she should submit an application to be the Obama’s nanny or to be Ralph Nader’s primary pencil sharpener. Better yet, she could petition to be the designated turkey lady, the one who brings the Thanksgiving turkey to the White House for pardon by John McCain. If anyone would pardon her it would be him. He’s such a nice guy and will look at home in the White House.

I told my husband when Hillary Clinton “stood by her man”, moved to New York and ran for Senator that she was planning to run for president in 2008. I think she should bow out now. She really doesn’t have the experience it takes to be our president and negotiate with foreign countries. Neither should she expect to be Senator Obama’s running mate. If that ends up being the case, I will be sorely disappointed. I think you are right on the money, Carl.

If the national press would cover the Chicago Tribune’s reporting on Obama’s land deal with Tony Rezko perhaps Obama’s star would be tarnished a little.

Mr. Obama has yet to adequately explain how the house he bought for over $300,000.00 off list price was bought on the same day that an adjacent vacant lot owned by the same seller was bought at full price by Mr. Rezko who is under indictment for illegal contributions to politicians in Illinois.

I’m a Hillary Clinton supporter because of her intelligence and the fact that she has good ideas about dealing with issues such as the economy , health care, etc.could surface.

I think she will continue to campaign with the hope of winning Texas and Ohio.So I think that she should hang in there.

Barack Obama is full of hot air and hasn’t accomplished much in his political career.

Obama has been given a free pass until just recently by the media. It’s just a matter of time before his past and lack of morals come back to haunt him.I think a mistake or scandal is brewing on the horizon which will bring him down.

Also, by November the naive public will realize that he’s just a phoney playing on their emotions because there is no substance with him. Good speeches can only go so far.

If Hillary isn’t nominated then I’m definitely voting for John McCain in the general election.

If Hillary gets poor numbers in Ohio, I think it is over for her and she should try to help unite the Democratic Party. I don’t see her playing second fiddle to Obama or any other person at this stage of her career.

With that said, I don’t much care for either one of them. Obama’s long-winded speeches do nothing for me. Motivational hyperbole appeals to a lot of people, but I have grown too skeptical and cynical over the years to buy into such things. I want to know what the plan is and how it will be put in place.

When it comes to politics, talk isn’t cheap. It could empty your bank account for generations!
