Drew Peterson Bombshell: Dr. Baden Was Right!
Breaking news….the Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow advises that Kathleen Savio’s death (Drew Peterson’s third wife) was a homicide. The new autopsy performed after the case was reopened confirms that her death was not an accident as originally ruled but a drowning and that is why it is now re-classified a homicide. This conforms to Dr. Baden’s conclusions after the independent autopsy he performed for the Savio family.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Feb. 21, 2008JOLIET – Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow announced today that his office has received the final report on the autopsy performed on the remains of Kathleen S. Savio on Nov. 13, 2007.
Dr. Larry W. Blum, the forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy, concludes in his report that the actual cause of Kathleen Savio’s death was drowning and that the legal manner of death was homicide. Dr. Blum’s report was delivered to the Will County Coroner’s Office on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008 and immediately forwarded to the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Illinois State Police.“Dr. Blum’s forensic report renders his expert opinion that this is a homicide,” State’s Attorney Glasgow said. “We have been investigating this as a murder since reopening the case in November of last year. We now have a scientific basis to formally and publicly classify it as such.”The complete autopsy report is a component of the investigation into the March 1, 2004 death of Kathleen Savio and will not be released. However, the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Illinois State Police are releasing the following quote from the conclusion in Dr. Blum’s report:
“It is my opinion based on my education, training, experience and personal observations, and to a reasonable degree of medical and scientific certainty, compelling evidence exists to support the conclusions that the cause of death of Kathleen S. Savio was drowning and further, that the manner of death was homicide.”
This was the second autopsy performed on Kathleen Savio’s remains. The first was performed shortly after her death in March 2004. Her body was exhumed on the morning of Nov. 13, 2007, and Dr. Blum performed the second autopsy that afternoon.
In his report, Dr. Blum notes that he reviewed photos taken from the scene at the time of Kathleen Savio’s death as well as reports of the initial scene investigation. He also carefully examined the physical location of Kathleen Savio’s death on Nov. 20, 2007 as part of his investigation.
His report includes the results of microscopic examinations and toxicological tests conducted on postmortem tissue specimens. The specimens examined by Dr. Blum were collected during the first autopsy on March 2, 2004, the second autopsy performed by Dr. Blum on Nov. 13, 2007, and a third autopsy performed by Dr. Michael Baden on behalf of Kathleen Savio’s family on Nov. 16, 2007.
The results of those examinations and tests are part of the investigation and are not being disclosed at this time.
The Illinois State Police are investigating the murder of Kathleen Savio as well as the disappearance of Stacy Peterson. Kathleen Savio’s murder and Stacy Peterson’s disappearance are simultaneously being investigated by a Special Grand Jury that was convened in November 2007.

But now the issue will be “innocent until proven guilty”. The somewhat sad reality is that Drew Peterson is probably smart enough to avoid a conviction on this death also. Despite the CSI genre of crime programs that solve cases within an hour long show, in real life, the absense of hard evidence, a witness, or a confession makes a conviction unlikely. Peterson will probably walk and only be judged when he meets his maker.
Maybe we should let Law Enforcement and the Courts decide instead of the Media putting Drew on Trial. The Media turns these Cases into a Circus. As a Lawyer you should ask yourself this: If the Accused is on the News 24/7, where can you find a Fair and Balanced Jury ?? Tabloid News is One Thing, Tabloid Trials is another !!
I don’t know why everyone keep calling this goof smart! He’s got to be the DUMBEST serial killer ever! Anyone who reads true crime knows about 8 years ago some guy did almost this exact thing to two wives and who was the forensic Dr. who caught him you ask? Why it was Dr. Michael Baden. Once he (the smart killer) was safely locked up for killing the one wife, all his friends who were afraid to rat him out on killing her, ran like the wind to save their own asses. He didn’t even use a blue barrel. How many places can you get a blue barrel anyway. He probably moved her in a police vehicle, he’s such a cocky gangster wanna-be. Anyway, Dr. Badens forensics were 100% unmoveable. People lie. Forensics never lie.
Means – Drew Peterson has extensive martial arts training. He was witnessed pinning Kathleen to the ground, restraining her and handcuffing her. He definitely had the means.
Motive – A history of violence directed toward the victim, financial settlement from divorce looming in the background and substantial gain after Kathleen’s death. Motive is a no-brainer.
Opportunity – The only witness to his whereabouts is missing and according to her minister, she claimed that Drew was not home asleep as was previously stated. Opportunity clearly exists.
Couple those basics with the other circumstantial evidence, which includes statements from the victim foreshadowing her own death at the hands of Drew, I think the case starts to look pretty solid.
I’m still comfused as to why when Savio died that this absurd notion that a healthy grown
woman drowned in a dry tub. It’s clear that Peterson was involved in a conspiracy.
What other officials were? Why do we hear nothing about them?

Today’s news in regards to Kathleen Savio was heart-wrenching, yet simultaneously not surprising.
I highly doubt that this man “walks.” Because of his prior status as law enforcement and because of his prior history of violence there are several people; including the survivors of kathleen savio, family of stacy peterson, social service workers, current law officials, etc that are either owed the truth or have alot riding on the production of the truth. For instance, the children are still in this man’s care. I am convinced that this man has committed at least two murders. The reality of one prior wife’s mysterious death will hopefully provide answers to the mysteriousness of Peterson’s current wife’s disappearance.
Then there’s just the usual monotony. How many times have we seen cases like this? How many times does a wife disappear and it is found or even suspected that her husband had something to do with it; whether he actually committed the murder or paid someone else to do it? I see the same unexplainable behavior whenever I read about Drew Peterson that I saw in Scott Peterson, a convicted murderer. This man does not even help in the search for his missing wife. Regardless of whatever “issues” they were going through in their marriage, it would be to his benefit to find Stacy. Afterall, she is the mother of his children. And after he “learns” that his third wife’s death has been ruled a homicide all peterson can say is, “You’re kidding me.”
Peterson has been under investigation for months. He has not gotten away with anything and he will not. Just as the truth has come fourth about Kathleen, we will all soon know the truth about Stacy. This man has had four wives; the first two were lucky, the last two–not so lucky.
What is the latest on the marine that went to Mexico? That story sure dropped out of the headlines.
My guess is the only thing drew will be “packing” are rounds into one of his service revolvers. A chicken like him is never going to let them take him alive. He could care less what it’s going to do to those kids. He hasn’t so far, has he now? Not in a million years will he live in a world where he can’t pretend to be a tough guy. Even though we ALL KNOW he can only beat up girls. Some girls anyway. I could kick his ass.

I got a chuckle how Brodsky has no comment to the media now. He has had his face plastered everywhere saying how innocent his client is, now he has nothing. Brodsky and Drew fight for media attention at every chance they can. Anybody that would date Drew had better sleep with one eye open. And Drew if your reading this, let them visit their grandparents!! They have the right to see each other and you don’t have the right to withhold them. When my husband and I divorced I let my kids see their father and grandparents any time they wanted, why, because it’s healthy for children to see grandparents. They love each other and grandparents can give so much that parents don’t give. Anyone that would prevent their children from seeing grandparents are nothing but evil. I would like to see them take you to court so they can see them. This goes to your credibility of understanding love, which I don’t believe you know how. Unless children would be in harms way that would be the only way I would prevent them from visiting relatives. I do not believe these children would be in harms way with either grandparents. It is simply you and your dangerous evil thoughts that is keeping them away. Grow a pair and be a man and let the kids go, they’ll hate you in the end if you don’t, they may already but they haven’t told you. By the way you say you have told them their mom is on vacation? What a joke, someone has already told them and you don’t even know it. They are afraid to approach you over anything for fear they will disappear also. God will judge you in the end of your life so be prepared.

It’s always three at first. I don’t why, but it is. Well hell, you know that. No you wouldn’t, you were a traffic/narcotics sgt. in the suburbs type deal right? Well anyway. BOLINGBROOK — The bombshell revelation that his third wife’s death was a homicide blew the bravado right out of Drew Peterson — but not for long.
“I’m scared,” Peterson said Friday from the doorway of his house. But soon after he offered to come outside for an interview if a female television news reporter agreed to don a bikini. Last year, TV reporter Amy Jacobson was released from her job with NBC 5 Chicago after she was filmed in a bikini while visiting the Plainfield home of Craig Stebic, whose wife Stacy disappeared.

I keep hearing legal pundits say that Kathleen’s letter expressing fear that she would be killed at the hands of Drew Peterson would not be admissible in court? Why? What makes the difference between one such case and another?
Did Julie Jensen’s “Letter from the Grave” set a new precedence?

OK so she died from drowning. Was there water in the lungs? Didn’t they see that in the 1st autopsy? Will the 1st coronor get arrested or at the least be investigated? How many autopsies went wrong?
Last night on Greta, Dr. Baden said she died facing down; but if she died facing down in a drowning, then why did the head bleed upwards for 30 some odd hrs.? I thought when a person dies, the blood goes to the lowest part of the body because of gravity. (I believe I heard Dr. Baden say that once before on another case). If the water went down the drain slowly, did the investigator’s take apart pipes etc. for evidence? Are we able to read the autopsy report?
This sounds like a cover up from day 1!!!!!!!

But then, no high powered defense team would take on Drew. And now it looks like he may have the money to pay for a good defense. (The supposed +- 3 million he received from Kathleens estate). What an ego maniac!
I doubt they will find Stacy’s body. I am sure Drew made sure of that.
If he is charged in either case, the best we can hope for (especially in Kathleen’s case), is that one of his accomplices talks. You can best believe that someone on that Bolingbrook Police Force

I don’t think Drew petersen killed either of his wives…that is himself. I think he had someone else do them both, so he could pass a lie detector test, if he was asked “did you kill your wife Kathleen or your wife Stacy”? He is too well trained and knowledgable, as a police officer, to ever do it himself, and he is sociopathically ill enough to believe he had nothing to do with it. He has probably convinced himself, he didn’t, because he didn’t get his own hands dirty. I believe the investigation needs to take into account, any criminals he had dealings with in his career as a police officer.Men that he would have hired and paid to do the killings. Stacy’s body will probably never be found, because whoever did it, was evil enough to probably dispose of “body parts”, strategically and widely dispersed, so they would never be found. I think a psychic that has been used before in police matters should be brought in to see if any light can be shed. What could it hurt? This man needs to be brought down, before he does it again. He obviousdly hates women, so what if, just what if, he targets his own adaughter, in some evil way. His is evil enough to do it, if anyone crosses him, He is a danger to society and everyone he knows.

Drew Peterson should not be walking around and above all should not be caring for his children, the longer you keep him out of jail he can get away with murder and he might try and kill himself, i can just imagine all the other police officers who helped him with these murders are scared straight.Drew Peterson is a joke and actually he’s insane and thinks he’s “ABOVE THE LAW”.
