Adam,
I remember you being in Beloit, 1996 it was. That's awesome you guys had a fire in the bullpen! I guess there was a few hiding areas down there. Thank you for sharing that memory with me. I have some fun bullpen memories, too: in 1986 there were a bunch of jokesters on the team. Hilarious antics. These guys would send me to the concession stand to get them food. They let me keep the change. A couple bucks here and there was great for a 9 year old! 1987 I could go on the field to play pepper with the guys......... 1996 was my last year going to the games. Pretty much my whole childhood was spent at that ballpark. (1984-93, and 1996. 1994-95 I didn't live in the area.) Every home game. I maybe missed an average of 2 each year. Lots of awesome memories. Lots of great guys over the years... Good times!

BTW: It is not warming up here yet... 4 new inches of heavy wet snow today. Cannot wait for my cruise in May!

Adam-Like your pix a lot, especially the winter ones of the vineyard, which you seldom see but have their own solemn beauty. If you want to see more, check out our doc, A State of Vine, about the Nor Cal wine industry.
I'll send you a copy if you wish.

Adam, no matter what kind of camera you use, if you don't have an eye for composition, it just won't be the same thing. Try your hand at black and white photography. Now there's a challenge :)

Answers for everyone-

My bike is a Fatboy as some have already suggested and I love to ride it around norcal. Less traffic and beautiful scenery. I am not a fast rider, I like to cruise. The mustards also help prevent frost believe it or not. Growing on the Cabernet vine is just some moss and that doesn't hurt the vine at all. They are dormant this time of year. Thanks also for the support on the photo's ...it is just an enjoyable hobby.

Wasn't aware you were such an accomplished photographer... I have 3 at home and nowhere else to hang photos, so we're binding them. Keep yours coming. It's a wonderful way to escape from everything that's going on in the world. A bit of sanity and beauty!

The bay area is so pretty ... my husband is from San Ramon, his entire family lives there. Dublin, Pleasanton ...

Bay area is just a bit pricey though!! I don't know how people afford to live there.

Oh my gosh! You're a biker! How cool is that!! You're bike is gorgeous, perfect color combo and just looks like a smooth ride... excellent taste Adam! And the background in the photo with your bike in was picture perfect!

My first bike was a 76' Harley Davidon (AMF). I learned to ride on that bike. It was a dinky 2 cylinder and the gear pattern was one down and four up. I'll never forget that.

Then I bought a used 883, I think that was in 1988 or 89. Bought it used and it only had 50 miles on it. The girl who owned it, her husband made her sell it because he didn't know she was buying it, same situation as I was in hahaha... so I practiced on that bike and learned everything I could

Then I advanced to a '76 Sportster bored 40 over. I got that one because I had to prove a point to my (first) husband and the guys in the neighborhood. I was taking that one down to the local track and praticed racing it. I found a guy that didn't know my husband and he taught me how to race. My next bike, at that time, was going to be a cafe racer but I never got that far.

Oh I forgot about the motorcycle...someone on AMERICAN IDOL rides one. Hmmm I don't have all the saucy details but maybe Adam does. lol-- hint hint.

My guess is that the mustard flower plant is there to attract the tourists to the winery during the winter months - Makes it pretty.
