Drew Peterson: Firearm I.D. Card IS Revoked!
Just received this from the Will County State’s Attorneys office - confirming the Illinois State Police have notified Drew Peterson and his attorney that it has revoked his Firearm Owner’s Identification Card. This is interesting since Drew, though named a suspect in the disappearance of fourth wife Stacy, has not been charged with any crime.
The revocation of his I.D. card follows an order by a judge that he should get his guns back…an order the prosecutor argued against. So does this move signal a concern about Drew having guns around his children? Could charges be imminent in either the death of his third wife Kathleen Savio or the disappearance of fourth wife Stacy?

The Will County State’s Attorney’s Office announces that it received confirmation from the Illinois Department of State Police on Wednesday that it has revoked the Firearm Owner’s Identification Card of Drew W. Peterson.
The Illinois Department of State Police confirmed that the department sent a letter to Mr. Peterson on Wednesday informing him of the revocation. Mr. Peterson’s attorney also has been notified.Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow on Tuesday sent a letter to State Police Director Larry G. Trent requesting that his department exercise its authority under 430 Illinois Compiled Statutes 65/8 to revoke Mr. Peterson’s FOID card. Neither the letter from State’s Attorney Glasgow nor the Illinois Department of State Police will be released.

I think that is a definite signal that an arrest is imminent. They are going to take his guns first, thereby eliminating an obvious threat to the police and the public. Makes sense to me.
I agree with Carl..hopefully he will be behind bars soon..Greta just reported that his 2 older sons were summons to testify at the grand jury..I hope he doesn’t have them brainwashed..I feel very sorry for his children..they deserve better…

Thank God, but that doesn’t mean Peterson does not have a firearm — it’s quite possible that one of his friends got a gun for him. The police who delivered the subpoenas for the older sons today wore their bullet-proof vests to Peterson’s house, so they don’t trust him.
hopefully they know something we dont.. and they arrest him soon .. he is still gonna get his cars back so his new girlfriend can drive stacys car around in front of stacys family.. i hope the kids speak out. it will be hard but they also loved their moms ! both of them so hopefully the hear wins out on this one .. thanks jamie! have a great day
No guns for him as he is a suspeect in the disappearance in Stacy Peterson. Also, he has commented on Fox news that there coul dbe trouble if he didn’t get them back.

I think the man deserves to spend the rest of his life in jail. It’s amazing somebody can just “run off” and nobody knows where they are or has seen them. I feel so incredibly sorry for those children. My heart breaks for them. I lost my mom at a young age due to an illness, I couldn’t imagine something like this.

Unless they charge him with a crime, by what authority do they have to take away his rights to own a gun? I agree, the man is a POS, and deserves to be tried for the death of his wife, and possibly the death of his last wife; however, he has not been arrested.
It looks like the prosecutor was mad the judge said to return his guns, so he got the state police to revoke his ILLINOIS right to have a gun. (NOTE: Illinois, not US Citizen.) I feel it is unconstitutional and everyone better hope it doesn’t happen to them for no legal reason.
For a city and state that after all this time cannot file charges against this man, it appears they are doing things to make him mad, but not giving him the justice his wife deserves. Almost reminds me of Boulder, CO.

I am sure all the dirty laundry will eventually come out & truth will be revealed I do pray for Him .
