A sign on the door to the Garden Tomb a few yards from Golgotha in Jerusalem reads: "He is not here, he is risen."

Three weeks ago I had the unusual opportunity to spend about ten minutes almost alone inside that tomb. Someone closed the door while I was inside.

Almost alone, an American inside a tomb in a foreign land, the exit door closed, I felt warm, safe, comfortable, HOME!

The Garden Tomb is the place where the first resurrection took place. I did not need to think about or question that. The unstoppable tears flowing down my checks, a powerful new feeling building in my chest, witnessed that it had happened where I was.

Today, if the Savior came and stood behind me, without turning to look, I would KNOW that He was there!

The above is a true experience, I was there in Jerusalem just a few days ago.

I know that Jesus Christ lives, He is risen, He is alive today.

Happy Easter all.

I was left feeling high and dry at the end of the report. Is that all there is she had to talk about on Good Friday in Jerusalem? If so, she did a disservice to all readers even reporting on her visit.

This was a strange way to go about reporting one of the most Holy days for Christians. She spent almost the entire report talking about hummus. I was dissappointed. I was hoping to get more of a feel for how powerful it must be in Jerusalem at Easter. Maybe speak to a few more people or describe the experience.
