London Airplane Bomb Trial: Details Revealed
They “went to the video tape” at the London airplane bomb trial today … and it wasn’t pretty.
The prosecution played so-called “martyrdom” tapes made by the terror suspects just before they were arrested, which apparently was just before they were allegedly ready to board planes in London bound for the US and Canada with homemade bombs in their bags.
Here’s one choice excerpt:
“This is revenge for the acts of the USA in Muslim lands…As you bomb you will be bombed … As you kill you will be killed.
And another:
“If you go to Iraq and Afghanistan and kill women and children and don’t think your own women and children will be killed…Think again.”
They all look like they were shot at the same time. The guys are sitting I front of a black banner with Arabic writing. In head dress. Frankly looking a little bit uncomfortable, sometimes noticeably reading from a script. It’s one of those “What were they thinking?” moments.
The prosecution said this proved they were serious. To me, it showed they don’t care a lot for the US of A. And that they do respect another fellow. Another excerpt :
“Sheik Usama (Al Qaeda chieftain Usama bin Laden) has warned you … Now is the time for you to be destroyed.”
It seems Al Qaeda was clearly an inspiration for these fellows. And maybe more.
Most of the suspects traveled back and forth between the UK and Pakistan (homebase to AQ) in the months before the arrests. One of them was said by the prosecution to be the “direct link” between the plotters and “those abroad with interest in the plot.”
Hmmm. You can’t fail to notice that the timing of these attacks if they had happened would have been just around the fifth anniversary of 9/11.
The rest of the day was filled with the details of how to pull off a transatlantic terror job. I’d like to say it was right out of a Tom Clancy novel, but it was more like a Good Housekeeping how-to guide :
- Pick up 10 liters of hydrogen peroxide for liquid explosive.
- Rent apartment and turn it into a bomb factory.
- Bury suitcase of incriminating detonation material in suitcase in forest.
- All the while the UK police getting it all, with surveillance cameras, wiretaps, charts and graphics.
Probably the most harrowing video of the day though was shots from several angles of the detonation of a device similar to the type the suspects wanted to bring on board the planes. It turns an entire steel-encased room into rubble.
Security official should just run a loop of this video for folks at airports if they complain about waiting. That would shut them up.

The reason you do not hear the “moderate” muslims come out and disagree with the fanatics is because the “modrate” Muslims agree with what the fanatics are doing. If the “moderate” Muslims do disagree with the fanatics, why do they still continue to be silent 6+ years after 9/11 ? Why do the “moderate” Muslims not turn against Osama and the rest of the killers ?

These people are the prime examples of Islamic hatred of the West. Were we to leave their “so called lands” before achieving freedom for most of their people ..these same crazed peoples would be DECLARING VICTORY AND DOING EVEN WORSE THINGS…to the WEST and to US!
Over several decades, since viet nam, America has lost its reputation as a strong County..and we have ..just as Europe did, made ourselves Targets of these Terrorists who do not RESPECT Human life. I am Fed up with people saying we caused it..the only reason that is even said is because we behaved so weakly …
At no time does America Hold other countries hostage ..I do not see America holding European land..even in Germany. Japan is a prime example of people who were Freed and are Successful in so many endeavours and it is thanks to our Help!
I am terribly afraid that once again we will be left off guard and revert to the Noam Chomsky view that a few lives lost are just a Blip on the radar. I note that there has never been a notice that he DID NOT LOSE FRIENDS ON 9/11 OR OTHER TIMES! I would love to ask him if the HOLOCAUST was a Blip on the Radar..DID HE APPROVE OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR???

Moderate muslims say that they are against terror, but once they are behind closed doors, their true colors shine. How about an example? Ok, An older example of what MOST muslims worldwide are doing, is the same thing Yassar arafat did. Atafat, while stuck in his compound which was under attack, gave a telephone interview to an American media outlet, saying things like, “I decry these horrible acts of violence against innocent people!”, and also, paraphrasing, ‘I want peace’. What did Arafat do right after the phone call? He was videotaped while on the phone, but when he hung up the phone, the private, non-media video camera was still rolling, and it showed him in a stairwell (or something similar), telling his people that all of the infidels MUST BE KILLED! So, Arafat said he wants peace, but as soon as he had his ‘privacy’, he started to rant against the West, America, UK, etc., just like any other terrorist… God is Great! Kill the Infidels (that’s us)! Islam is the only true religion!.. and all that garbage.
So, if you wonder why ‘moderate muslims’ so not speak up, it is because they DO NOT WANT TO!!! They WANT to see us all dead and islam rule the world! I for one wish people would stop calling it a religion of peace! ISLAM IS NOT A RELIGION OF PEACE!!! Some, and I mean a few, people that HAPPEN to be muslims, are peaceful… NOT the religion of islam, which I believe is the religion of the devil. Sorry, that is what I believe, or rather know, and every instance of violence in the so called koran is meant to order terror, and killings, and beheadings. Look at the muslim justice system! 50 lashes for just SITTING in the wrong place!! And those people who think that the Bible has violence, well, it doesn’t tell people to kill for no reason other than they are NOT Christian. In fact, to anyone who thinks the Bible is just as violent as the koran I have some news for you… It’s not, and every single comparison saying the Bible orders death and destruction, can be argued against. The Bible is NOT evil… the not-so-holy koran IS EVIL.
