I would suggest a retraction, or serious amendment, on your part.

Note: I am not debating “right or wrong” about Tibet. I am calling into question the competence of your so-called scenario.

Good to have you back. Seriously. Of course once again we are nowhere near close to agreeing. There are so many differences. China took over Tibet. Tibet has never been treated as an equal or fair state. Religion is not accepted in China. Monks and people in Tibet have been murdered, tortured and suppressed for generations.
Much different than the United States. An unfair comparison.

Some state in the U.S. wants to form a new country.

They are doing this because they worship a man that has been designated a “god” at birth.

This “god” travels around and visits places like Seattle and meets with movie stars like Richard Gere.

The people of this religion (who want to form their own new country out of a piece of yours) disrupts an important event that showcases the US to the world.

These same seperatists claim abuse, just because the authorities are cracking down on disruptions and public disorder. (Like the US did during the protests against the APEC summits some years ago).

THIS IS WHAT IS OCCURING IN CHINA.

Tibet is part of the Peoples Republic of China, just as the south of the US was part of the United States during the civil war.

Take these reports of abuse to the “poor Tibeten people” by the Chinese authoritieswith a grain of salt will you?
