At the DC Bureau: Pope Coverage, All Day

So I stopped into the DC Bureau and people are obviously busy with pope coverage. I did have a chance to meet up with the Fox News Edge folks, who we work with all over the globe on breaking news. Here’s a little video I threw together.

I want to thank FOX news for the excellent coverage of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to the USA!!! I was glued to the TV this morning (almost late to work) to watch the beautiful ceremony at the White House! I wish you had round the clock coverage of his trip!! I think that this visit will help all Catholics and Americans gain a greater appreciation of not only Catholicism and this great pope but also of ourselves as Americans and our rich roots founded in our forefathers’ faith in God!!! And I think that you guys and gals in the media play such an important part in helping us to recognize and reflect on the richness of our country’s heritage. One last comment: I LOVE Father Jonathon’s blog!!!!!

A Pox on Fox for interrupting Placido Domingo with commercials during an otherwise stellar job covering the Pope’s U.S. visit.

Thank you for your wonderful coverage of our Holy Father. Your network is the only one to completely cover the event. I was able to enjoy parts of the Mass today from my desk at work. Witnessed Placido Domingo sing! Adam Housley can go jump in the lake for all I care! The Holy Father is loved by thousands non-Catholic and Catholic alike and this is an Historic visit that deserves full attention.

Thank you FOX NEWS! You are doing a great service to our great nation covering the Pope’s visit. This is news! You don’t have such and important person “at Home” every day. I too love Fr. Jonathan’s blog and comments.

Well I should hope that the main focus is on His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.
We need to be able to see goodness and holiness today.
There is no way of getting around the truth of GOD!
As Pope Benedict says “Christ is our HOPE”
We so need to hear and see his message today in our country and around the world.
GOD bless the Pope.
Thanks!
D

Please shut up!! Your announcers are talking over the church service and we can not hear the important information. They talked over almost all of the young peopel presented to the Pope today and we really wanted to hear the information about each of them as they were being presented to the Pope. You can talk and add you comments afterwards. This is a once in a life time for all of us, even the ones at home watching and I want to hear the Pope not you announcers and their analysis in the middle of the service. I love Fox News and watch you all the time, but you must learn when NOT TO TALK!!

I thank you Fox news for not being afraid to cover the Pope visit to America. I know when you covered the death and funeral of Pope John Paul II and the election of this Pope you took a lot of hits and anger from other medias. Thank you for knowing what most of your viewers what to see and hear. For those who don’t want to hear about the Pope; they have CNN and MSNBC. Which those numbers are very few. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
