I don't think it's illogical to surmise that those "empty" planes could very well be carrying Quds personnel as a first step in placing Iranian terror operatives in the US.
Venezuelan government support for housing and training,as well as transport to Mexico and the US border with real Venezuelan passports wouldn't be hard things to provide.
In a way, I hope it does happen and is thwarted; then, we'd have the same legitimate cause as we did in Afghanistan to go in and take proper care of that SOB.

Chavez is opening the door for radical islamist to establish a foothold in the Americas. In addition to the weekly flights Caracas-Damascus-Tehran with no cargo or passenger manifestos (they could in theory transport ANYTHING and ANYBODY).

He has allowed Iran to set up "bicycle and agricultural tractors factories" in the uranium and mineral rich Guayana region of Venezuela and has granted Iran with many mining concessions.

There is a permanent presence of iranians (and of course cubans) operatiives in venezuela.

You do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what is going on here.

What surprises me the most however is how litlle attention has been paid by the media and the US government to this potentially dangerous situation.

Good job Adam. Keep it up and don't let go.

Chavez is meeting with Ahmadinejad for one reason only, he wants missiles and nuclear weapons from Iran. He already has his AK 47 manufacturing facility on order. He will use the production from that plant to arm his supporters because the opposition is forbidden to own guns in this country. I remember watching the pictures on television last November of the "face covered" policeman being spirited away on another policeman's motorcycle after shooting a university student in the head with his pistol. Of course, that policeman was never arrested for murder because he was under direct orders from Chavez to shoot to kill any protesting students. The student was not protesting, he was inside of the university when he was shot.

If you remember, Chavez is also attempting to buy 5 submarines claiming he needs them to patrol the waters against the U.S. and Colombian ships offshore. Nothing could be further from the truth, the real reason for the submarines is that he wants them to ship cocaine to America. Until recently, he was shipping cocaine in his air force planes to the United States. That information is directly from a Venezuelan air force general.

Please understand that the Venezuelan people are not in any way against the American people. They value their sense of freedom and democracy as much as Americans, but they are prevented from living those dreams. On almost every street corner is a policeman or military solider under orders to forcibly put down any attempt to enjoy the same freedoms that Americans do.

Now New Mexico's governor Bill Richardson is attempting to use Chavez to free the 3 contractors being held by FARC. What the governor does not realize is that Chavez is using him for propaganda. Chavez paid approximately $30,000,000 to FARC to release the prior 3 hostages. He will demand at least $50,000,000 from governor Richardson figuring that the oil companies can pay the kidnapping fee. This will increase the risk to Americans such as myself living in Venezuela. The kidnappers will realize that they can make large sums of money by kidnapping Americans, just like in Mexico where it is a big business. Also, doesn't this make Bill Richardson a terrorist for associating with a known terrorist, Chavez?

Oh well, maybe Richardson is getting in some practice for a cabinet position with Obama. He'll make a fine Secretary of State negotiating with all the terrorists in the world.
