The College World Series
Because of the fires I didn’t get to post the ‘Sports on Sunday’ feature, so bear with me while I reminisce a bit. It still seems like just yesterday, walking into the hallowed grounds, bag thrown over my shoulder and dreams of a championship in our eyes.
We had gone on an incredible run, entering the series with a 44-11 record, with many of those losses close games. Ranked third in the country, Pepperdine got seeded third in a regional. A slap in the face and just another motivation for us because that meant the NCAA had put at least 16 teams ahead of us and we were ranked third in the country. We came to Omaha and they seeded us 7th…another affront.
Matched up against perennial powerhouse Wichita State, we shut em down and then went on to sweep through Omaha. I have so many memories. For example, once we beat the ‘Shockers’ the people of Nebraska jumped on board, joining the mom’s, dad’s and grads who had made the trek half way across country to root for the little school that could. We weren’t supposed to be there….”a nice program on the west coast, but not a national champion”, as one coach had said. Despite all the opposition, we knocked em out with some of the most memorable moments in series history. Pilling up on the mound will forever be etched in my mind, as will getting drenched in the bull pen while warming up against the Texas Longhorns.
The Lone Star faithful loved to toss the peanuts and drinks over the side of the wall as I got ready for games 2 and 3. I also learned to tell every college kid I know who plays the game….if you are blessed enough to win it all….don’t be one of the first to the mound, you’ll end up on the bottom of the pile….I know from experience. It hurts. Go Dogs!! (Can’t go wrong with this one, both Fresno and Georgia have the same nicknames!)
Here is a video I found online, you can see me grab my bag out of the bus. Yep…..that was a few years ago. #40
Awesome stories, Adam! Thanks for sharing them!
Carrie
Fresno State is really a underdog, but they just might have a chance to win the ncaa champhionship. Its hard to believe they are from the Western Athletic Conference. I am definately rooting for them.
Adam,
That was an exciting video. What memories for you.
My former next door neighbor caught the final out in the 1991 Major League World Series, and another player from that championship year still lives across the street (and is a coach for the team). Baseball has always been important in my part of the country.
An idea for a new children’s book: The Little Team That Could
Good Morning to Adam and all.
Thanks Adam for sharing. Being an athlete is never an easy career. I think you made a very wise decision to move on.
Didn’t peter Ubberoth go to Pepperdine?
Montana
A. Housley is on the pitching mound…
and here we all are…out in left field.
Nice story and video!! Thanks for a peek inside your past.
Adam
Great video and lots of memories for you to always have
Brad – GO DOGS – Fresno State – have to support them no matter what!!!!
Carrie – loved your wedding photos
Good morning everyone – lets hope this is a better day for posting
g’morning all.
if all else fails, bulldoze the catcher! *L*
Adam, do you stay in close contact with all your past fellow players? just curious.
Can you breathe today? Seeing all the stories on the news this morning, that CA air just can’t be good for anyone. I just can’t fathom that many separate fires. Mind boggling.
Go Pepperdine- great video– and you are soooooooo cute!
Kathy– no disrespect to your state! LOL
Wednesday morning test post…

Hi Carrie– left you a comment on the Fire thread– you too Brad– and Sylvia!
the mind does amazing things– I didn’t have my reading glasses on and when I first glanced at the picture– The Road to Omaha, I thought it said The Road to Obama!
speaking of sports– this was all over the news yesterday-
PHOENIX (AP) – Shaquille O’Neal will lose his special deputy’s badge in Maricopa County because of language he used in a rap video that mocks former teammate Kobe Bryant.
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the Phoenix Suns center’s use of a racially derogatory word and other foul language left him no choice. Arpaio made Shaq a special deputy in 2006 and promoted him to colonel of his largely ceremonial posse later that year.
“I want his two badges back,” Arpaio told The Associated Press on Tuesday. “Because if any one of my deputies did something like this, they’re fired. I don’t condone this type of racial conduct.”
Shaq was seen in a video posted on the celebrity news and gossip Web site TMZ.com rapping that “Kobe couldn’t do without me.” O’Neal skewers the Lakers’ star, with whom he won three straight NBA titles from 2000-2002 while with Los Angeles, for not being able to win a championship without him.
“I was freestyling. That’s all. It was all done in fun. Nothing serious whatsoever,” O’Neal told ESPN.com Monday. A call to the Suns on Tuesday seeking comment from O’Neal was referred to his public relations firm, which didn’t immediately respond.
Arpaio, who describes himself as “America’s Toughest Sheriff” and is best known for feeding jail inmates green bologna, clothing them in pink underwear, and making them work on chain gangs, said he didn’t expect his actions would teach Shaq a lesson. But he hoped he learns that as a role model who wants to someday be a full-time sheriff, he needs to know his words matter.
“Maybe I’m old fashioned, but I don’t think that either conduct should be out there publicly, even if media wasn’t there,” Arpaio said.
O’Neal previously served as a reserve officer with the Miami Beach Police Department while playing for the Miami Heat. He also volunteered with the Tempe Police Department after being traded to the Suns in February.
@Adam–
looks like Shaq has our “foot and mouth” disease as well!
And yes Adam–
you are behind schedule– LOL– You still have Tech Tuesday missing! How about using the living room for this one so I can check out your living room? Make sure Milano is in it!
Or the kitchen? I want to see a sink full of dirty dishes!
Susan,
You are funny. Good thing Adam has a sense of humor.

Sports related in a way– ex-wrestler who still thinks he is cool!
Hulk Hogan’s wife called 911 and the operator told her basically to get lost! Yay for the operator! Meanwhile, a young man on life support thanks to the recklessness of their so called celebrity brat child!
How about a weds “feel good story”! Since posts aren’t showing up until later anyway.
Adam…you’ll like this one.

what is with the tossing of the peanuts and drinks over the side of the wall? Did they clean it up afterwards?
(speaking of peanuts) I was at Cobblestone a couple days ago getting my car washed- in and out and while waiting, I love to watch people- Cobblestone has a popcorn machine which the popcorn is free. I watched people eat their free popcorn and drop the popcorn on their clean floor– not one out of the five people picked up their popcorn off the floor! (and yes, I picked it up! As to show them how easy it is.) LOL
Free popcorn and they still can’t pick up their mess! Stuff like this drives me nuts!!!!!!
Adam
HELP – you need to get this blog fixed – I am getting way tooooo much house work done – not good for a woman my age – To much manual labor!!!!!!
For whatever it’s worth, I had the opportunity to watch Adam play at our alma mater, Pepperdine. He and his brother brought so much to our school — on and off the field — and the CWS win has continued to be a highlight for this alumnus. As they powered through the season, the playoffs and — as Adam writes — the affronts — the team just kept winning…with class. OK, that sounds like what you’d expect from a proud alum, but there was a reason these guys were able to pull off what they did. Not ever having been a player of that caliber, I can’t really tell you how teams matched-up…but it always seemed that Pepperdine was being asked to prove itself — which it did, time and again. Finally, on that glorious day in Omaha, Adam and his teammates did what we all believed — and they knew — they could do. Since then, the guys have moved on with their lives, but what they’ve done — whether it’s coaching in the college ranks, working in business or reporting the news — they’ve done it with the same class that carried them through to victory. I know a lot of you here who communicate with/thru Adam and his blog have a good impression of him and his work. I was fortunate enough to see him grow as a player and a reporter, and I’m happy to call him a friend. What he and his teammates accomplished was due in large part to the same things you see him exhibit every day on TV or here in his blog. I apologize if this is a bit overboard, but whenever I see a clip on Pepperdine’s CWS title, I can’t help but feel proud. Nice job, Adam. GO WAVES!
Jeff
WOW – that was neat – I knew we had Adam pegged correctly – thanks for confirming that
KC…*LOL*
Jeff…wow, that was nice! From the heart
KC & Susan — Thanks for commenting on my pics! Such a good day!
Jeff — Thanks for sharing your memories of Pepperdine and Adam. I kinda feel your pride; Adam played here in my town in 1996. When I saw him 8 years later on FOX it blew my mind! So cool!
Hi everyone!!!
Carrie
Jeff,
That was a really nice tribute you posted.
Jeff–
that was a really nice post! It almost made me cry– which is a good thing because I have been crying about us not being able to instant post!
And yes– I do have a good impression of Adam– Lucky me got to meet him here when he did the SuperBowl coverage– so I know exactly what you are saying! And lucky you to see him go through his changes!
xxxx
If this post I am even more confused than normal. Safari won’t let me pst comments, & today my daughter sorta taught me how to download Firefox, but I can’t use the abandoned airport ink nor my name in the weird font – we’ll see if this goes through. ✈ ✈ ✈ ✈ ✈
I’m sure that by the time you get to read this post, Obama will have been re-elected by an ever so slight margin over Arnold Schwarteneger ( despite the last name, Arnold just wasn’t the dark horse everyone thought he’d be). Bill O’ will have spun his last spin, Don Imus’ son will have married (and divorced) The Reverend Sharpton’s granddaughter, and Britney……..well she’s still our Britt………………Oh yeah, and Susan will have logged her 1 millionth post……….of the month.
Just checking in…………have a great day everyone.
John-
LOL!!!! You are fantastic. Sometimes. Just don’t let it go to your head. EVERYONE– I know the frustration, it bugs me too! I have spoken with the ladies who do an amazing job keeping everything in order. They too are confused and are having a meeting tomorrow morning with the tech people to ensure everything is working and what changes need to be made. There aren’t any moderators watching what Susan and John say, however, they will erase any offending comments. Racist, sexist, etc. That is not what is happening here as we all know. In any case, hang with us. It will all come together and work again.
Adam
Adam,
I do remember Braxton Hickman, only because he was a Texas Legend. That is a family name which makes it interesting to remember. I love a game when it comes down to every play!
I did recognize you with the bag, you have become easy to spot!
Hope all this stuff gets solved so we can go back to normal chatting…..well maybe not so normal…but fun.
John–
one millionth– LOL– You forgot to add– Chavez and Gollinger will have married and Naomi Campbell and OJ Simpson will have tied the knot too! They met at Anger Management classes!
Greg from RedEye refers to Imus as I-Mess–
Thanks moderators for not paying attention to John and me!
I can’t wait for this to be fixed– I miss LDG!
Hi Mrs. Carrie–
Marriage still is good I see– you have Mrs. Carrie as your name–
And a big welcome to Brad!!!!!
Thanks for the update Adam
and yeah, that reminds me of another song….
anyone care to guess??
OMG John, that was hilarious or delirious!!!! You really are going to cost me a screen and keyboard some day!
Susan-
I heard about those Hulk Hogan jailhouse calls to his son. He apparently has no care for what the victim is going though. He is probably going to be paralyzed for life. And all the Hogans want to do is cash in with money offers to do another reality show to get rich from.
I also heard about Shaq cussing and offensive language when he was rapping. For that reason, i dont listen to those kind of music. They always degrade women in their lyrics.
But i am a fan of the LA Lakers. I was kind of sad when they lost to the Boston Celtics. Maybe next year.
Hey KC-
Fresno State won the NCAA title. Congrats to them!

Just checking to see if this site is working yet….guess not.
tech people….please help this blog.
Good morning from southwest Florida!
I guess this isn’t the right site to check to see if comments post when I’m having an issue with my ‘puter – hello at any rate! I see one did show up yesterday though Safari is doing Twilight Zone ♬♫ stuff to me – yikes!
✈ ✈ ✈ ✈ ✈
Betty-
There is something going on with Safari. It is working on my computer, but Tamera is having a heck of a time. I am going to look at it for her tonight.
Adam
Adam – thanks for sharing that video clip of you and the boys from way back when (ha ha). This was the first year I can remember ever actually sitting and watching some of the College World Series. It was a good one! (and sure beats all the junk out there on the tv)
Oh, and i forgot…
Welcome Brad and anyone else new that I missed seeing.
Did anyone catch the video clip of the Mass legislator ranting about the Jessica Lunsford law? I don’t understand. What is he saying? Does he think that the children shouldn’t be protected by the law or is he trying to make a point? I really am lost on this one.
Brad
It was a great game – 6 to l victory over Georgia in game 3 – It was stated in the paper this morning that around 19,000.00 fans were at the stadium to watch the game. It must have been awesome!!!
GO DOGS – FRESNO STATE
John – thanks for the updates on the world news – ROFLMAO!!!!!
Good morning everyone
KC-
We were watching it here in Needles. Inside an Indian Casino Hotel because it was like 115 degrees outside. But it’s dry heat of course.
Adam
hm… things are improving, if only in steps…
today’s test post showed up in about 2 hours.
let’s try again.
LDG
Thanks for the above link – GREAT CAUSE – I agree with you – we need to find a way to support it – Every little bit helps. Way to go Sean Hannity!!!!! Let’s see what Alan contributes!!
Hi All,
Are we back to real time posting?
whee, only about an hour to get that last one through.
@FL-Sunshine
re: legislator’s rant video — I did not see it, and a quick look for references to it didn’t give me any useful information. My regrets, as I would like to help.
@KC-Fresno
re: link — most welcome, and thank you for helping it along.
and then…
On topic
I confess my heart is with Ice Hockey and Baseball as sports passions, but as this is our stand-in for Sports Sunday…
…I am almost amazed that no “yay” or “boo” about Boston winning the NBA playoffs has wandered by yet. Belated, I grant you, but still the biggest recent U.S. tourney.
FL..supposedly the atty did have a point…let me see if i can find the article i read yesterday.
FL… i totally disagree with this *ss, but i havent found a defense attorney yet that i could agree with, i think they are “mostly” scum. strictly my opinion!
h ttp://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,371344,00.html
..remove the space in the address above
from the article…
From a legal perspective, law professor Phyllis Goldfarb said Fagan was probably expressing a basic courtroom truth – that it is a defense attorney’s job to test the prosecution’s case, especially when mandatory penalties are on the line.
“It is fundamentally true … if the proof is coming almost exclusively through a child witness you may have to find a way to test it. That’s the attorney-client obligation there,” Goldfarb told FOXNews.com.
Goldfarb, who used to direct the Criminal Justice Clinic at Boston College Law School, said Fagan used some over-the-top language, but that he probably didn’t relish the idea of cross-examining a child. She said it’s just his job.
“You do have to challenge a witness,” she said. “Some people find ways of doing that that are loyal to their role as defense attorneys — testing the proof (in ways) that aren’t abusive to a witness, but it’s very hard.
“And I think being put in that hard position is what he seems to be railing against here, using language that’s probably a little bit hyperbolic.”
Brad—
Being around someone who was in a coma, I totally understand what John’s parents are going through! Except my friend pulled out of it with some brain damage– So I was affected by this on a personal level! It is awful to see someone just lying there — on feeding tubes! So for this Hogan to be so insensitive and trying to make his son a victim, just turns my blood to ice! Regardless if John got into the car… I wish Sheriff Joe had asked for the brat to come and spend his time here in tent city! He would get a taste of what he** feels like! LOL
Shaq is now in AZ so his BS bothered me too– as Shaq, in my opinion, should be helping the state and not hurting it with his inappropriate blunders!
@LDG– thanks for the link– and Hannity, you are a good guy!
Hi Patty,
Has the weather finally settled down in your part of the country? Hot and humid here today.
@Sylvia
“Are we back to real time posting?” — getting closer. 30 mins or less last try.
Jen–
name of song? Beatles– We Can Work it Out?
go figure…my post at 12:09 went through in less than 4 minutes. Record time!
then the second post, which was just a few minutes after that, is not posted 1/2 hr later. It did have a disabled link in it, but that should have helped it through, not hindered it.
I see Obama and McCain disagree with the child rape ruling- (Me too) (If you have to have the Death Penalty–)
I like Wendy Murphy’s discussion she had yesterday about the Court’s decision– these guys are predators and their acts are not done at the spur of the moment–
I wish the Court would distinguish what Cruel and Unusual Punishment is!!!!!!
Sunshine–
Mass– James Fagan– the defense attorney— He is ranting about what a defense attorney’s job is— (represent the client zealously) —- I sure as heck don’t agree with what he said though!!! He should be fined! (I think– I am going to rip them apart and so on, sounds more like a threat!)
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,371344,00.html
Workign??
Sylvia, it hasnt rained for 2 days here. But others around are still getting wild storms that pop up and disappear that fast too. We are in a every evening storm chance, hopefully the cold front that is coming tomorrow will calm things down finally. It is hot and humid here also, this am the dew points were the same at the temps, 75 degrees when we got up today. Here comes the dog days of summer, yuk. I much prefer what we have had minus the storms.
Mine took about a half hour–
I see I got a free emoticon– the wink one! I don’t wink at the Death Penalty–
Jen–
Come Together– song– written by John Lennon
Loved seeing Fresno State spank Georgia.
It was reminiscent of Pepperdine’s win…ya gotta love it when the underdogs…more to the point, the guys “getting no respect”… take home the hardware.
Congrats to another bunch of guys who did it on talent, dedication and character.
Adam,
Did you win the jackpot at the casino?
Sylvia-
I am not a gambler. We got done at 10:30 last night feeding video and on the way to the room we stopped at the roulette table. I put down $20, got up to $48 and then lost it all. Not bad for a half hour. Then went to bed knowing why I don’t like to gamble.
Adam
Adam,
Always leave the casino as soon as you win a little…that’s my motto. Then head to the nearest department store…hopefully Macy’s or Nordstroms!!!
The BIG NEWS OF THE DAY
The Pope doesnt wear Prada lol
Pope doesn’t wear Prada – Vatican newspaper
Published: 06.26.08, 19:16 / Israel News
After years of speculation that Pope Benedict wears shoes by Prada, the Vatican’s official newspaper denied such talk as “frivolous.”
Esquire magazine last year named the 81-year-old pontiff “accessoriser of the year” for his red leather loafers that fashionistas had said were probably made by the Italian fashion house. While the Vatican had never confirmed or denied if the shoes were Prada, continued chatter about the pope’s dress sense led the Vatican daily Osservatore Romano to print a condemnation of media stories it said trivialised the head of the church. (Reuters)
*L* that’s funny about the casino Adam. You should’ve walked with your 48!
We have 4 Indian casino’s within an 1 1/2 drive ….we never go. Not our “thing”. Way too noisy for one, and two…those dollars were hard earned, i just cant justify throwing them away.
Patty-
That’s why i NEVER gamble. Once in a while $20 is ok with me. Usually once a year or so. PLUS….it is waaaaaaay to smokey in there. I get enough smoke during fire season.
Adam
Jen…what song did you have in mind?
susans doing pretty good guessing!
Back on Safari but it won’t take my name in the funny font nor the abandoned airfield website – ✈ ✈ ✈ ✈ ✈
speaking of gambling– I see I didn’t win chara from the Powerball — And for an extra dollar, I do Power Play! There goes my dream chalet in Engelberg, Switzerland!
@Adam–
You need to carry the red bag when you go hang out in those smoke filled rooms!
BTW– Sgt has not been here because : “our new internet filter doesn’t allow Adams blog to come up because it has streaming video, I am talking to the techs to get it fixed. ”
I miss his name being included with John’s and my name when it comes to censorship! LOL
xxx
I dont really like to gamble either, you can get addicted to it, to the point where you cant stop, and at the end you lose everything.
But winning one of those powerball lotteries, that would be a different story. If i did win one of those, i would be really careful not to publicize it, because you never know who is watching, and waiting to steal some of it.
Wow, the weather in Nevada was a 115 degrees? If anyone here has visited Hawaii, it only gets up into the upper 80s and 90s, but its really hot and sweaty. The dry desert heat cant even compare to that!
Patty-
Thanks for welcoming me
You are a smart and intelligent person.
Sylvia–
Macy’s or Nordstroms? Good Lord– I can’t afford that! LOL
I use to be a clothes hog– now I am just– jeans! It is too painful to try to even look nice! waaaa!
My friend Andrew won almost 4,000 in Vegas and left with that- He is in Barbados now– I bet he is having a good old time! (even though he says he is there for work)
Yes Jen–
did I get the name to the song right?
what is a safari besides a trip to Africa?
I gambled at the airport in london last year and won then lost it all
in one of those machines lol
Brad–
Did you ever see that special on people who won the lottery? Man, what a bunch of idiots!
Psychologically, some who win try to spend it as fast as they can to be back at where they were originally!
Me– the airlines would love me– As I hop from one country to another! Will send postcards! LOL
Susan – AZ
Safari is what I use on my Mac but when that didn’t work any longer or went haywire, I downloaded Firefox – are they servers? Me and my technical terms, I’m new to this stuff.
✈ ✈ ✈ ✈ ✈
Avi–
good thing the Casinos are a bit of a drive from here– last time I went gambling with one of my neighbors from the last place I lived, I sat Ken at a nickel machine and he won $60.00 plus– meanwhile, I was losing my you know what off at the dollar machine! grrrr!!!!
Betty–
Me no comprende nada when it comes to computers!
Susan,
I’m aware of your e-mail request. I’m not tech smart so am letting someone else handle it for me.
Brad,
Are you in Hawaii? If so, which island?
Hi all!
Carrie
Sylvia–
OK– COOL! I have been working on this diligently today– I think I contacted everyone necessary! and much thanks!
xxx
Hi Mrs. Carrie!!!!
xxxx
Susan-
I didnt see the special about the lottery winners? Was it on Fox? If so, i missed it.
I really want to travel and visit other countries, but did you see that report on Fox and Friends First about the safest place to be in an airplane if an accident happened? The two emergency exits. Plus you can get a syndrome with blood an clot in your legs from the cramped airplane seats. Plus its been proven that the air inside can make a person really sick.
Sylvia-
No, i am not in Hawaii, but i have visited there a lot. Do you happen to remember Hawaii Five-0?
Susan-
That is really awful. I hope that person who is in a coma gets better soon. They are in my Prayers, and have by deepest sympathies and condolences. It really makes me see Hulk Hogan in a different light. Back a long time ago, i used to look up to him as a tole model, but all that has changed.
I guess when the Phoenix Suns traded for Shaq, they though they were going to win a championship, i was actually rooting for them if the LA Lakers didnt make it far. But i guess it cost the head coach his job, because he left for the NY Knicks.
Yep, i really like Hannity. He is not afraid to go after the truth, no matter what the cost. He is a relentless reporter.
Brad- Warm Welcomes to you.
Hawaii Five-0…
Dan-O was my hero!
Maui is awesome-hope to go back some day.
I like your name (my son’s name)
And I can’t believe this blog isn’t fixed yet!
Most people don’t know this, but whenever Adam isn’t on the air or blogging, he’s usually dealing 21 at an Indian casino near El Centro. No, wait a minute…he’s a Pai Gow dealer on a Mississippi paddlewheel boat. Yah, that’s the ticket…
Hi Everyone!
Carrie…nice pics btw!!
Book’em Dano!
Brad…your comment at 3:37 cracked me up. Thank you, but there are many here that might argue that statement!
I usually just provide comic relief and annoy Adam a “little bit”.
I will never make it to John, Sgt Shot or Ldg’s comic caliber though!
Brad: some people here won and gave most of the money to loads of charities, and some charities phoned them and asked if they’d forgotton about them.
It seems like a lot of people here remember Hawaii Five-0. What are everybodys favorite episodes from the show?
Patty-
What was so funny about my comments? That syndrome is real, you can actually get it from sitting too long in cramped seating. People have actually died hours after they get off of an airplane because of it.
But i am glad if i made you laugh
Jen-
Thanks for the welcome. I know what you man about the blog, i have the same problem, certain posts arent showing. It is happening a lot with Alisyns blog.
Brad..the part that made me laugh was the part about smart and intelligent
Max-
That is a good way for a person to spend their lottery winnings. Whoever does that has a great heart and has a special place in Heaven waiting for them.
Adam, thanks for working on the posting problem… Thought you did not like me….. Boo Hoo!!!!!!!, then again sometimes I have a problem to like myself…… that was yesterday….today I am fine…..
Dottie
“Smile” it confuses people
Adam:
Thanks again for the great memories. Jeff was very touching and so very true. The young men on the Pepperdine team were all great and so much fun to be around. We feel like they will always be family after that wonderful season. The parents of the team were terrific and so special to us, even today.
We try to keep at least Christmas cards for a yearly update.
Brings back great memories.
Mom
Hi Adam’s Mom. I’m fairly new to this blog.
Sylvia
Jeff-
I am flattered by the praise. Thank you very much and to so many people who supported us back then and of course to so many who continue to support me and others to this day. We could not have accomplished any of it, without support from our families, friends and even people we never met.
Adam
Hey Sylvia-
I dont know you were fairing new to the blog. A warm welcome to you
Patty-
Yep. I do consider myself a smart and intelligent person. Same to you, such a great view and insight in your posts.
I remember watching that game in the George Elkins Auditorium. That was awesome! I graduated from Pepperdine with you in ‘93 in telecommunications too. Ahh, walking up the stairs to TV-3. Good times… It’s been fun seeing you on the news. Go Waves!
Adam,
I remember this game. Watching your video brought back some great memories. Being in Omaha, I can tell you we always LOVE to root for the underdog!! Besides, this is the best town to be in and watch the Series (yes, for those of you who have never been here, we really are nice, love all the fans and have a great city)! Next year, you need to come and watch the Series. Tell the bosses they can just send you on assignment here lol.
