A FIRST Look at the DNC Podium and Stage

By Molly Line

The big reveal happened bright and early- 6am mountain time- three days before the convention officially gets underway here in Denver! 5,000 stadium seats were removed from the Pepsi Center to create the three story high stage. It’s a spectacle of color- red, white and plenty of blue. The high-tech design includes massive LCD screens covering 8,000 square feet and hundreds of lights.

The arena, where the Denver Nuggets play, has undergone a dramatic transformation in just 7 weeks. Plush blue carpeting replaces hard wood flooring and the press has set up shop in box seating areas. Hundreds of technicians, construction workers and stage hands worked around the clock to get things ready for the 6,000 delegates and dignitaries expected to pack the convention hall come Monday.

Fox News channel will be here for every exciting moment!
