Don’t forget….there’s another BIG Convention gearing up right now in St. Paul, Minnesota.
FNC crews give you this rare early peek at the mega preps taking place right now for next week’s RNC in Minneapolis/ St. Paul…Look out for more pic essays in the coming days as I’ll be way behind-the-scenes embedded in the Xcel Center for four days of the RNC!

I cant wait for the RNC convention. You folks are going to be broadcasting from the Minnestoa state fair, am i correct?
All of you young women forty and younger, get behind Mayer /dubinsky. My generation fought blood for the political and work opportunities you currently have! As a life long Republican who always votes the party not the ‘man’, I am thrilled if she is the pick. Jan Fennell, Peoria, IL
In the Ketchikan Daily News on Aug. 8, 2006, Palin told Ketchikan voters during the primary election campaign that people across the nation did not understand the bridge or its purpose. She said it was the link for the area’s expansion and growth. Palin noted Alaska’s congressional delegation worked hard for the funding and that she ‘would not stand in the way of the progress toward that bridge. That saids it all………..She is already not telling the whole TRUTH…….She was for The Bridge To Nowhere……….
As a 40 something Conservative-Christian wife and mother of 4 I am over the top excited about the choice of Sarah Palin.
I have followed the elections quite closely, but not felt hopeful until this.
Great choice!!!
There is a big difference between Obama and Palin when it comes to who cares about people more. Here is the comparison and proof is provided in Obama’s own words and actions.
Palin has a child with down syndrome and says that he has been a blessing.
Obama would have placed the child in a linen closet and let it die.

Who cares about people more?
We live in Ca. and this is the pits for people who work, self-employed, in the oil industry. This state is not conducive to any type of logical lifestyle or boot-strap frame of mind. Having said that, I am over the moon about Gov. Palin. She’s bright, smart, funny, a worker bee, has her own mind, knows( instinctively) what’s right and wrong, has attitude, a MOM, a WIFE, a daughter, a friend, and probably can SHOOT your ear off! God’s in His Heaven and all’s right with the world, again. I’m glad the convention is taking steps to curtail some of the proceedings and just do the business that needs to be done, get out of St. Paul and take care of what’s proper and needs to be taken care of. Then, all those delegates should go to N. O. and, physically, take care and put N. O. back in order. They were going to be “working” all week in St, Paul, anyway! Subtle, ain’t I! This country needs to be taken to the woodshed and be given a lesson or two. I’m embarrassed to be the generation that took discipline out of school, parents’ rights to correct their children in the grocery store without interference from the Nosey Nellie, kids running around with weapons from knives to guns and blowing themselves and others up (this happening in this country not overseas), I fear for my 6 grandkids to make it to their 18th birthdays. Has anyone read the fall of China or Rome??? History repeats, folks! I can’t watch the Roadrunner because it’s too violent but the Playboy Channel is tame compared to the soap operas! We’ve lost our compass and we’re heading right into Gustov’s eye, literally and figuretively ! Wake up, America. It’s time to start trusting someone over 30 again but I can’t seem to find them. I’m breathing a bit easier with the Republican ticket. Behind every good man is a great woman! I think so. I’m drawing the analogy of Give ‘em Hell Harry Truman and Sen. Mccain. He’s not the type to take any *^#(**&! from anyone and I hope he sticks to that. Gov. Palin may need to do some kicking. SHE’s the one to do it!!! And, I’m the Dem. in the family!!!!! Love and blessings to all. D! (not exactly pithy, huh)
To Richard who posted the link for the Obama audio; no clear point of reference without the type to what is really going on. Others don’t waste your time, it is an amatuer attempt at swiftboating.
Tell me this…why was Sarah Palin not vetted? After watching Meet the Press with no contrasting opinions I hit the internet. Sarah Palin is being fully vetted on the internet.
My concern is her family values and questionable decisions regarding her family, particularly, being a faith minded individual.
If this is a traditional family, why is her husband not playing a traditional role? Every story on mainstream media has him either having worked for or they mention seasonal work. I find him disturbing. Don’t want my daughter seeing a woman taking care of her husband and pumping out babies while working herself to death.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, how do you keep your mind on the job when you have 5 distractions 6 counting the spouse. What would be priority one, a sick baby or buildings being bombed?
Republicans may have enjoyed Palin this weekend but come this week, she is hellavu hard sell to the American public. The husband just sends all the wrong messages. independents were hoping for a Hukabee or Pawlenty if you were gonna give us a choice. This soccer mom is not working for us as a serious candidate. Big mistake, big, big mistake.
Someone needs to ask the question about why it is okay for women with children to go to war, but it’s not okay for a woman to be VP. The trash coming from the left is obscene.
