We also own the house next door to us, free and clear thank goodness, but trying to sell it is a joke. The market goes down in value each and every day and we are not about to give it away. We are lucky not to owe on either home, but the poor families that are losing theirs is heartbreaking. Also, the lenders are making it so difficult for anyone to buy a home, nothing is selling. A lose, lose, situation all around

and around here, on the radio, on the tv, banks still advertising…”come get a low interest home loan………” blah blah. Same ole Same ole.
It just doesnt seem to bother anyone.
Maybe its because we are in the middle, its yet to really show the effects here.
But companies are already laying off. Good year tire announced today it is laying off 1 week a month. Im sure they wont stop at that.
So get the darn ads off the air…….quit shoving it in peoples faces. argh!

I think congress should put the election on hold while they investigate wrong doing by Obama’s Acorn. They intimidated bankers into allowing people that were not qualified to get mortgages. So many of they were done that it helped bring about the current mortgage crises with all these sub prime loans.

We need to investigate the fact that Obama was complicit in this mortgage crisis and also let the public know that the second leading recipient of fanny may and freddie mack contributes was Barak Hussain Obama.

Its amazing that people dont check these facts out themselves but believe all the hear in the very slanted network news. There used to be something called fairness in broadcasting…now where did it go when we need it???

anyone sick of hearing these ads for Celebrity IQ quiz.com that mockingly give the Republicans low iq’s while giving the Democrats high IQ’s. I called their number and told them i was insulted and they told me it was for entertainment purposes only. That i explained I doubt and explained that lots of people have a problem wit this and that I dont find it entertaining to mock others.

I think McCain needs to revise his straight talk express. He has obviously overestimated the general intellect of the “Average American”. It is painfully obvious, that at least half of America is buying the old bait and switch from Obama. Saying he will give them something monetarily if they vote for him. And so readily overlooking his past at the prospect of getting something.
McCain needs to explain to the people that instead of giving Americans Welfare he will be giving America the chances our country stands for, opportunity and a real chance to do better with their own lives. I remember the protests where people held signs saying “We don’t need welfare, we need a chance.” He needs to reflect back to those days, and ask Why is Obama trying to bring 95% of the people down again. Welfare didn’t work.. it only bred more Welfare. Obama would like 95% of the country to be solely dependant on the Government as to whether they fail or succeed. (If you call Welfare a successs.)
He also needs to say “You become like those you spend your life with….Bill Ayres, Rev. Wright, Malcom X, etc…. You cannot spend your life with them without it coloring your views. No-one would spend 20+ years in an adversarial relationship with anyone. So therefore he is like them to a greater or lesser degree. (Like when your kids get in with hte wrong crowd… good kids become like the bad ones.)
