I can’t wait to watch this special. Our soldiers are heroes !!!! I love Gary Sinise. He is a wonderful example and I wish more actors and actresses would follow his example. Thanks Gary. You are a
shining STAR. God bless you and all our military.
WOW!! Am I to be the first to say “GOD BLESS GARY SINISE”?
Thank you!, Gary, on behalf of all the Fox News Listener Family, for all your efforts over the years.
There was a time, I well rememebr, when any mention of the Iraq war, brought on choruses of boos.
Now, thanks to Presiden Bush’s surge, we can now say truly that we can see ‘the light at the end of the tunnel.. and IT IS NOT (as we used say during Vietnam).. a train coming the other way.
I am sure that god’s blessings will be upon you and yours.

Kudo’s to Gary….he is our “Bob Hope”!
Our “Bob Hope”…….thanks Gary!! You deserve all good in your life!
Looking forward to the Gary Sinise Special on Saturday, I already taped it just in case I cannot be home to watch. He should be honored and thanked in every way by the Iraqi and American people for his dedication to our Troops in Iraq. If it was feasible I would be right there with him; but I will get it “out there” for those who do not watch FOXNews….. to see and watch what this wonderful guy does to uplift our men and women in all Military Services. I’m so happy he was recognized by President Bush, he deserves praise from you, me and God for his unselfish ways.
God Bless you, Gary.
Both my husband and I are looking forward to this special. We have been aware all along of what a blessing you have been to the troops and these United States in such a quiet and unassuming way. At a time when so many actors, entertainers etc. could very easily bring a morale boost to the troops, so few do. Thank you, Mr. Sinise, and may God bless you and your family. Thank you to all the service men and women fighting for our freedom! May God protect you all.
I too come from a family of military and my heart breaks for all the unamerican speech that goes on everywhere…I beleave and spread the word when ever I can that No Country at any time any where has ever sacrificed so much for so many without concern for themselves. We are a much safer world because of OUR military and OUR Heros. God Bless OUR hero’s and all those like Mr. Gary Sinise
who selflessly Love OUR Country.
This is wonderful. I know Gary Sinise has made several trips to visit our troops and help Iraqi children. I look forward to watching this special. Thank you so much Gary! Karen
I have enjoyed Gary Sinise’s performances over the years – and seeing the wonderful work he is doing to help the troops is heartwarming and heartening. I agree with Donna M. (above) – with all the UnAmerican sentiment at home and abroad, it is great to see someone who has the celebrity to shine the light on the troops and what we can do for them too.
Let me add a thank you to all the unsung ‘angels’ who are not celebrities who work hard to bring hope and support to our troops – and a prayer to the troops and their families who have unselfishly given of their time and loved ones to keep our country safe.
God Bless Mr. Sinise, other volunteers and donors, the soldiers, their families and (close to my heart) the K-9 soldiers who also give their all.
All four of my military people have separated from the service from either age or injury so I didn’t know Mr. Sinise had stepped up for Bob Hope. I’m going to learn how to program my DVD recorder so I will be sure to get to see this special. I loved his Lt. Dan role and I think what he is doing is wonderful. GO GARY!!!
I was unaware of all the previous visits to our servicemen made by Gary and am impressed by the fact that he has done most of this under the RADAR screen. It is a real tribute to this American for his dedication and commintment to our troops without seeking self praise. I will definently watch this special. Being a son of a veteran, a veteran, a father of an active serviceman (Air Force) and a brother and an uncle to several veterans, I tip my hat to Gary and salute you SIR….you are what makes this country great. God Bless You.
Dear Mr. Senise,
I’ve always liked your work as an actor; now I greatly admire your work for our military! Thank you so much for giving them the opportunity to be appreciated!! My dad was a WWII Combat Infantry Sgt. with Patton’s Third Army and my father in law was a B24 pilot. My husband was in the Navy during the VietNam era and it is a privilege to support the most amazing fighting forces on Earth. What grace and stamina they have shown under blistering attacks (both abroad and at home.) Please let them know that there are many of us who pray for them and their families every day and we never cease to appreciate and laud them for the work they do. GOD BLESS AMERICA! And may God bless you, too!
I’d like to thank Mr Sinise for representing our fellow citizens in conveying a message of support to the Troops serving all over the world. I’d also like to thank Fox News for broadcasting the 1 hour special so we could share in his wonderful work.
To our troops serving, both overseas and at home, I would like to say thankyou and say that both my wife and I value your service and your sacrifice.
Just watched the show and thought it was terrific. Our son is in Camp Taji and I was watching to see if they went there on tour. Terrific job everyone should see this program and get the real story as to just how terrific our troops are.
God Bless you for you and you groups efforts
Gary,
Thank you so much for what you do for our magnificent troops! They need to know they are not forgotten and are always thought of, supported, and admired by many of us here at home. Sadly, the press does not let them know this-just FOX.
You are an American treasure. God Bless you, your family, our brave men and women, their families, and our wonderful country.
I was a USAF pilot during the Vietnam era. I remember being given orders not to wear my uniform while traveling on commercial airlines, not to stop for gas in uniform, being denied service in restaurants, and being denied entry into a campground because I had a military sticker on my car – etc. The list goes on and on….
When my son graduated from basic training we were treated to a show by Bob Hope at Lackland AFB. It was an event none of us will ever forget. Desert Storm was under way and we had no idea what was in the future for my son or myself (I was still serving in the Air National Guard).
I am retired now, but my son is still serving. You will never know how damaging the comments of the likes of Reid, Durban, Kerry, and others can be to the morale of the troops. It is a knife in the heart to those have families that have sacrificed everything.
Gary is a patriot that gives us support, pride, and dignity. To bad there are not more Garys in the Hollywood elite.
Thank you Gary!
Gary,
I really enjoyed your special, it was excellent…and you are one very special person! Thank you for what you did and what you’ve been doing for our troops! Let us know how we can help you.
Congrats on your presidential award–very well deserved!

Gary and Kimo make a great team – for our benefit and for the benefit of our military families. Never forget the families sacrifice.
Please let me thank Mr. Kimo Williams for his great music – take a moment and listen to the album – Symphony For The Sons of Nam, especially ‘American Soldier Chapter II’. A great blend of Mr. Sinise’s narrative linked to music by Mr. William’s orchestra/band members. It rings true then and for those serving today. Find it via Little Beck Music or do a search! Fox,
Please run this special 1000 more times.
Are there any plans to replay the FOX News Special “On the Road in Iraq With Our Troops and Gary Sinise” in the future? Many of us who are familiar with the noble efforts and dedication of Mr Sinise’s work with our military were unable to view this original showing and would like to have the chance to see it aired again.
