The Death of Michael Jackson — LIVE Updates from L.A.!
By Alicia Acuna
Reporter, Denver Bureau
Fox News field producer Faith Mangan and I arrived on scene at the home Michael Jackson about an hour ago. The exclusive Holmby Hills neighborhood,
located next to Beverly Hills and BelAir, has been taken over by news trucks, tour buses and fans.
The neighbors are not happy. A few second ago, a woman who lives adjacent to Jackson’s rented property snapped at a Los Angeles Police officer, “When are these people going to leave?!?!?!” A tour bus was kicked out, but got stuck in neighborhood traffic, further infuriating the locals. We’ve seen one vehicle go into the Jackson home, but not one leave. There is no family representative here on scene, so
we are still awaiting word on what happens next for the Jacksons. The home that Jackson has been renting here, goes for a reported 100,000-dollars a month. More later….
Please… get back to the real issues… He’s dead and he aint comming back..nuff said.
what about the real issues like taxes, and what the new socialist republic of america is up to in DC today????
Get back to the news.. ENOUGH Michael (child molester) Jackson
now the king of r&r and ironically, the king of pop who were father in law n son in law rest together. if there is a rock and roll heaven, they finally got a heck of a band. and not to foget our fallen angel, Farrah who now has her real angle wings, she watches us from a better place with michael. god bless them all. talent, great and it is true, only the good die young.
The “King of Rock & Roll” has Graceland. The “King of Pop” needs Neverland to be rebuilt. This will give his fans, family, and friends a place to share. Elvis’ last scheduled concert tickets were kept by his fans. Many didn’t want the money refunded. Maybe Michael Jackson’s fans would rather see their ticket money to go towards a place to honor Michael Jackson. Once established, the profits could go to causes that were important to Mr. Jackson. The house could be a musuem. Let’s Rock!
This was clearly suicide–between what he told Lisa Marie, his unreadiness to perform in London, his rising debt, and his general unhappiness in life. The doctor may or may not have assisted, which is probably why he ran away the first 48 hours.
For three days all I’ve heard on the news is Michael Jackson – completely sick of it – there are too many important news items to keep dronning on about a pedifile/drug addict. You must think the public is so dumb that this is all it wants to hear about – grow up and give us news not garbage about some music icon that most of us care less about. I haven’t watched your news for 3 days now – think you could realize we are smarter than to sit in front a tv tube to look at M. Jackson. My relative got rid of his television – says the news is on the internet not the tv. I’m beginning to agree – you’re probably run the government anyway. Time to give the tv’s away. . . . . .
LET THIS MAN R.I.P.!!!! THERE IS NOTHING ANYONE CAN DO FOR HIM…NOT EVEN OBAMA!!! AND BELIEVE OR NOT, GEORGE BUSH DID NOT CAUSE THIS!!! THERE ARE MASSIVELY MORE CRITICAL ISSUES GOING ON IN THE WORLD THAT OBAMA IS RUINING BY THE MINUTE!! I UNDERSTAND VOYEURISTIC NETWORKS LIKE CBS, A-BS, N-BS, AND CNN-BS, BS-NBC, AND OTHER NETWORKS THAT WANT TO PULL THE WOOL OVER OUR EYES ABOUT WHAT’S REALLY GOING ON. THERE’S BEEN AT LEAST 3-4 MAJOR STARS THAT HAVE DIED THIS WEEK. JACKO IS NO MORE IMPORTANT THAN THEM. GO BACK TO REAL NEWS!
First, enough with the Michael Jackson coverage.
Three days, on and on. Jackson was a great singer, but give us a break. We tune onto Fox News for Breaking News worldwide, not 24/7 repetitive coverage of a bio of one dead man. The World continues on, cover it, report it!
Second, whatever happened to that North Korean garbage scow enroute to Myanmar with suspeted military hardware and shadowed by the USS McCain? Did it sink? Did it make port and unload as we watched helplessly? C’mon report.
Third, what is really going on in Iran? All we have heard since Michael Jackson died is that Fox News is dependent on random twitters and phone calls from unknowns. Could they be regime plants? Has the revolution died? C’mon report.
Fourth, Congress has not been sleeping the past few days. Legislation was passed that could cost each of us lots of bucks. C’mon report, cover this move to socialism. Live up to your boasts.
We need info not eulogy.
The Second Revolutionary War has started while you sat around, holding hands and singing Michael Jackson songs…
Michael Jackson is my favorite pop artist ever since i was a child. He is truly the King of Pop and i am saddened by this news.
Does the death of Michael Jackson really merit more coverage (ad nauseam) than that of PRESIDENT Ronald Reagan. You are acting like a bunch of teenagers. For heaven’s sake grow up!
I wish they would bring back the old forum so you can leave comments there. Okay, M.J. was king of pop, but I noticed they didn’t hardly have anything about Farrah Fawcett. Guess she wasn’t news worthy.
I cannot get my head around the fact that while ALL the news stations — yes even Fox News — covered Michael Jackson continuously, the biggest load of hidden tax increases ever passed the House. (the ‘cap and trade’ mess) Narrowly passed, I might add, so it was a huge story. Where were you?? I am so disappointed. Fox News had a chace to differentiate themselves from the mainstream media, by reporting about Micheal Jackson in a measured and sane way, and then getting back to the news that really matters. You blew it.
You do have a chance to redeem yourselves, since this story and his funeral isn’t going away anytime soon. Please don’t act like ‘them.’ (the other news organizations)
What did he ever do to really deserve all this attention? Pedaphile? Druggy? Want to be white? Put the idiot in a box and sink him 6 feet. Let’s get back to real issues. What’s that a parade too! Real heros get less and deserve more.
enough with Jackson already…………….To be honest I will miss Billy Mays more…………
